Have any of you been playing No Man's Sky? Thoughts? Did it live up to what you had hoped it would be?
I've been enjoying what I've been playing of it for the most part, but I find some of the systems currently present in the game bare bones to say the least. Now, I'm one to enjoy a good survival game, don't get me wrong, but I'm not so sure No Man's Sky is a good one of those. Everything in the game works, but I don't think it services the core of what's going on in No Man's Sky. Still, there is a wonder attached to the game that continually draws me in.
Also, the PC port is really bad. |

Well, I can't play it since I don't own a PC or any of the new-ish consoles but I have watced a few lets plays and it does seem there's a lot missing. There's a chance I obviously didn't notice things but I could probably list a lot it doesn't have.

| I've not been playing it, but I do have friends who have been. And based on what they've said, plus what I've seen of them playing it, it sounds like it would be a really fun game to play sometime next year when it's not smelling like its version number ends in a 0. |
