Calculating both numbers gives me -400.133 left to go. Someone missed a zero.

In reality, there's 4867 posts left, not counting this post. If we consider an average of about 10 posts per day (even if it might be inaccurate), it should take about 487 days to go, or 1 year, 10 months and 2 days. (first time using the modulo operation to calculate something)

My guess? Let's see if it happens in 2018.

There are a lot of threads from the old days. I don't think the board tracks the creation time of a thread, so it's not as easy to graph out.

(I mean it's still one query — probably something like SELECT thread, MIN(date) FROM posts GROUP BY thread — but that's more effort than I feel like spending)
