As I'm trying to figure out how the graphics in this game works, I decided to look at the debug menu to see if I could find any other neat things, and I found three unused music tracks, as well as some "unused" sound effects (seems like as both Earth and Ant are on the same basic engine it seems a lot of their development was shared, so some SFX I remembered hearing out of SimAnt, though I should look at that game as well)

I'm not at my computer right now, so I can't upload the actual music tracks, but these tracks can be accessed from the debug menu (basically smash in every button then hit start with your nose at the title screen), with the settings for the sound test being either 02, 05, or 09 for the first numberk. Note that you will have to load these by pressing A (the game pauses for a second as it loads), then set the value below that to 01. Third value is to play sound effects.

To me though it seems that a lot of SimEarth's and SimAnt's development happened at around the same time, at least on the SNES side of things, or otherwise a lot of content that wasn't used for one was recycled for the other.
