Hi I was playing Donkey Kong Country 3, and I made it to the end of Rocket Rush without losing a life, and something happened. I was warped to an unfinished Doorstop Dash. What I mean is, there were no enemies, no bonus barrels, none of the doors were there, and the ropes did not work. Start+Select was useless. The music was Cavern Caprice. And the tileset was not glitchy.

What the heck is going on here?

Not sure, but the level you were warped to matches the description of level 00 in the game.

Pro Action Replay code 7E00C000 will take you to this level.

Huh. Never seen that before. Unsure how well known that glitch is or what the driving mechanics of it are. I can't say I'm not curious though.

I'm guessing that if Mattrizzle doesn't know about it then it probably isn't a very well documented bug.

For what it's worth, I had the same thing happen in DKC2 when I died in Rambi Rumble. Every icon on the map was replaced with Diddy's face, and I couldn't move off the one I was on. Entering the level took me to an unfinished version of Web Woods, which I assume is level 00.
