Hiya,

As the title suggests, I'm wanting to rip a Japanese PSX game. I know about the software that does it (I use ImgBurn), but my computer doesn't recognize the disk, or even American PSX games for that matter. I'm assuming it has something to do with the fact that PSX disks are CD-ROM and my computer simply can't read them, because my computer can read PS2 games fine, but those are DVD format.

How can I get my computer to read the game? I know there are external drives that I can get to read disks, but will they work? What about for a Japanese disk?

Thanks for reading, appreciate any thoughts or ideas.

PlayStation discs are ordinary CD-ROMs. If your drive can't read CDs, you'll need to use a different drive.
