So I've recently found out that the SMT Devil Children games have SGB 2 exclusive features over the regular SGB released here in the US.
First, they only play in color on the SGB 2 and the second is the boarders are brighter on the SGB 2. Are there any other Super Gameboy Games like this? Is there any way to Game shark or game genii these features onto the regular super gameboy? Would provide pictures for this but my camera is utter trash. |

I don't know why they would play in any more color on SGB2 than a SGB1, the only difference between the two versions of the SGB is a link port (and supposedly there's like a 2% speed difference because of a bug in SGB1).
Seems like a ***ton of work just for a needlessly version-exclusive bonus.
(supposedly Tetris DX has a SGB2-exclusive border for whatever reason) |

Not a bug. The SGB1 gets its clock signal from the SNES and divides it by 5, which results in a speed of 4.295 MHz versus the original Game Boy's 4.194 MHz (a 2.4% difference). This was probably done so they didn't have to include a crystal oscillator in every unit. I assume they added one to the SGB2 to correct this problem.
