Probably in the same files as the models themselves, if they're anything like most 3D model formats i've seen

Any idea if the original N64 version of Dinosaur Planet is out there somewhere...? I was so crushed when half the content got cut and it was turned into a Star Fox game. It was good, but I wanted the original.

[Gavin Price] I remember playing it a lot, but it was never completed on N64. The framerate was pretty bad at that early stage! Maybe Tim Stamper has a version somewhere.

Sooo.... who wants to find out where Tim Stamper lives?

It's the official twitter of Tim Stamper, cofounder of RARE. Definitely real. The real question though, is when is he gonna dump them?? He has the power!

I don't think he can really dump any of these carts without getting into big trouble.

Thinking the same thing there. He might be able to demonstrate them, but dumping them wouldn't be the wisest idea. Keep in mind that this is a high-profile guy here. Granted, he's the co-founder of Rare, but there could be ramifications for him dumping that cart. I was pleased just to know it existed.

As for that picture, wouldn't be unlikely Dino Planet is among those carts, but it's hard to tell what's in there due to the lackluster lighting.

Oh yeah, forgot that too. I wonder if he's posting all of these both to waste our time and/or because the cart doesn't work (even with new batteries).

I do notice that one of the N64 carts is labeled with "256M+256M", which would be 512M, IIRC the size DP was going to be. That doesn't necessarily mean it is, though; it could be a cart for a 256M game, with an extra 256M for dev purposes (extra space to use before size optimizations are done).

The one with the red sticker, next to the SNES Dream cart? That looks like "256M+256K" to me, i.e. 256Mbit ROM with 256Kbit SRAM or another save type (not sure which sizes were available with which type).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah where did you find those??

After seeing the Pro-am 64 shirt, I always imagined there was a Dinosaur Planet t-shirt floating around out there somewhere. I guess I was right!

I believe I have a lead of the fuel cells, however it is not good news if nobody has found anything on them still. First off I tried a code that modified bomb spores, and added some additional address calculations. I got events to flare off all over the place in Thorntale Hallow. Can crash from time to time with all the Thorntales everywhere and all enemies + improperly textured Tricky (the invisible warpstone also says nobody gives me gifts anymore, you can also give him unlimited gifts). I've also tried to play as krystal from the start and take that spirit to karazoa palace to escape to play as her but I got stuck watching an angle of a certain part of the palace hearing sounds. Anyway, with that test you know now I tried, I also had 255 fuel cells, a karazoa spirit and water spell stone which I think fuel cells are purely quest related and when you use CE or Dolphin search for the fuel cell address something else must be writing to it, which means CE needs a debug attachment and I need to try to find fuel cells override. I've gotten as close as this: Changing the GUI not actual amount of the fuel cells to a thousand, otherwise other codes blink my fuel cells . Anytime that I do find fuel cells the only issues are that they are always changing and that I found not any other addresses that write to them.

Really cool seeing that enemy running in sfa. Is that the only DP model that we've found ?
