So E3 is only 1 week away, with such a close proximity, i found it incredibly baffling there's no thread for it yet, so here we go.

E3 has changed a lot this year, namely, EVERYONE HAS AN E3 CONFERENCE NOW. Bethesda, Square, the entire PC gaming market. Making sure that you are going to be spending the whole weekend watching conferences. Megatons might be dropped in at least one of them. So you'll have to watch them all.

SCHEDULE

(Stolen from Neogaf)

Weirdly, it doesn't include the Nintendo World Championships, which starts at 3PM PT (6PM Eastern!).

PREDICTIONS

Microsoft

>Battletoads is coming, is Rare's smaller title, and will most likely launch this year as a digital only game.
>Rare's big title is most likely a new IP that isn't a Kinect game. Hopefully it ends up being good.
>That 1TB Xbox one Console with the new Controller Amazon leaked will definitely be announced, also, it's going to be released the same day as the conference.
>Scalebound will get a gameplay demo and release date. Most likely late this year.
>Phantom Dust is most likely dead, though they obviously wouldn't confirm it got cancelled during the conference.
>The Gears Of War remaster will definitely get confirmed. Definitely coming out this year.
>Crackdown will get another CG trailer, with a release date of late next year. But at least we'll know who the devs are!
>Rock Band 4 will probably be the multiplatform game Microsoft moneyhats for timed exclusive content. Considering how close friends they are with Harmonix.
>Forza 6 will definitely get a trailer, and a full release date.
>Quantum Break will get a new gameplay demo + Release Date, and the "surprise" announcement of an Alan Wake remaster for Xbox One. Available for free to everyone who pre-orders Quantum Break.

Sony

>The yearly tradition of showing off an overly long gameplay demo of the latest Call Of Duty game will be passed into Sony's hands this time.
>Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is definitely getting a gameplay trailer, might segue into a gameplay demo for Uncharted 4 if we're lucky.
>The Order: 1886 will get a sequel. Might not be revealed at E3 though.
>There's going to be a big Indie highlight reel like last year, expect the Shadow of the Beast reimagining to be awkwardly moved into it. Oh, and maybe CamDrome. Assuming the latest yearly tease will finally lead to something. (I doubt it's a PS4 exclusive though, or even funded by Sony.)
>Horizon (That secret project Guerrilla games is working on) will most likely be revealed. I have a feeling it won't come out this year.
>No Man's Sky will be back, with a release date and a beta for everyone who went to the theater experience. Expect negative impressions thanks to how overhyped it's gotten.
>Wipeout is coming back on PS4. Probably developed by Sony Bend.
>Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will get one last gameplay demo (Most likely of Metal Gear Online, considering we haven't seen much of it.) as the game gears up towards launch.
>The Last Guardian WILL NOT get shown, no matter how hard you pray to the Team Ico gods.

Nintendo

>Roy will be revealed as DLC for Smash 4, right at the beginning, launching Next Month.
>Also, Ryu will be revealed, at the very end of the conference as the usual "one more thing", launching in August.
>Speaking of Smash, Downloadable stages will be happening, released in packs of 3. and with completely different packs for both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. The first 3DS pack will most likely have Dreamland 64, Ryu's stage from Street Fighter II, and one other stage i don't feel like guessing.
>Star Fox will finally get a gameplay trailer. Launching late this year.
>Project Giant Robot is going to completely separate from Star Fox as a small downloadable title. Project Guard, on the other hand, will be merged with Star Fox.
>Mother and Mother 3 are finally coming to Virtual console. IN JAPAN ONLY. Don't worry though, cause a couple of months later, Mother will come to the US, as a slightly modified version of the English proto. Mother 3 would then come a couple of months after that, with a new translation made by Nintendo themselves.
>Zelda will finally get a full title and a trailer, launching mid Next Year.
>Mario Maker will be revealed to have a Sprite editor for making custom graphics, with premade custom spritesets themed after other Nintendo games also being included. Alongside a Music editor for making custom music, and a basic logic editor for making custom objects/enemies (Mario himself, however, will be limited to the 4 previously announced Gameplay types as "custom" logic, alongside the newly revealed at the conference Mario Bros 2 gameplay type. You also can't make new Powerups.)
>Splatoon's Ika Musume costumes will stay in Japan. We in the US, however will receive exclusive Spongebob costumes. Launching the same day as the Ika Musume stuff. Europe won't get anything.
>Pokken Tournament will be confirmed to be receiving a Wii U port early next year. With 3 new characters and Amiibo support (With a new line of Pokemon Amiibo revealed specifically for the game. Available as cards only.) added.
>Project X Zone 2 will get a new trailer + Release Date.
>Retro's new project will be revealed, and it will be a 2.5D Metroid game for 3DS. Launching early next year.
>Animal Crossing Wii U is finally happening, launching late this year with Amiibo support (Both those Animal Crossing cards and the Smash Bros Amiibo will work. The latter unlocking in-game clothing.)

Everyone else

>Watch_Dogs 2 is happening unfortunately, and the series will be Ubisoft's new yearly franchise.
>Beyond Good & Evil 2 isn't happening either, so pack that up.
>We'll finally get to see that Gameplay demo of Doom 4 shown privately at Quakecon last year.
>Also, Fallout 4 Gameplay demo. Release Date won't be confirmed though.
>To cap those 2 major Beth conference things, they'll also reveal Dishonored 2.
>EA's conference will be the same junk as before, maybe we'll get a new Mirror's Edge 2 trailer if we're lucky, but it'll mostly just be SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS.
>I'm also not really expecting much out of the PC gaming show either. Microsoft will probably drop a few smaller titles coming to the Windows 10 store, and Devolver will definitely have a cool new indie. But it will mostly be just fluff.
>And finally, Half-Life 3 is almost certainly not getting announced, stop asking for it.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

So with that, it's time to post YOUR predictions.

Edit: i forgot to add the most important prediction. Taco Bell will be introducing the Quesalupa (or revealing the nationwide release date for it) a few days before the main conference quadrant (June 15th). Because they tend to introduce major new Menu items around E3 time. I'm not kidding.

Do not mix Predictions and Dreams. Those are different.

...honestly all I want is some kind of sequel to that Reggie VS Iwata. (And it's likely considering there will be new Smash content on the way, there's no reason it would get ignored at E3)

Eh, I'm not going to make any predictions. Watching and enjoying E3 is good enough for me. We'll see what happens.

I'll be happy with whatever Nintendo shows so long as Star Fox is one of the things shown.

And I'm expecting a majority of everything shown by the other main developers to consist of the four basic elements: car, gun, sports, and medieval fantasy.

I'll hope to see some small exciting indie games and that Nintendo will surprise us with something nice like they did last year with Splatoon and STEAM. Hoping Sony will give me some justification to actually get saving for that PS4.

I really hope that everyone's not doubling down on the Oculus Rift/VR bandwagon too, because really. I know everything is cyclical and likes trends, but cmon guys. We just want to play games.

I'm also vainly hoping for a new Advance Wars, but I know that's unlikely.

Advance Wars isn't impossible, but it does look like Intelligent Systems has their hands full with Fire Emblem if and SMT X FE. Then again, Atlus is spearheading the crossover game from what I've read online. Who knows.

That's a pretty generic statement to say.

I'm sure after today, Microsoft will show off more Oculus Rift things. There will definitely be some Halo 5 (which is going to be good to see after the news of the multiple spartans), and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something really surprising from them.

Sony might have something of its own VR scheme, and Uncharted 4 will be present with a gameplay teaser I'm sure. No Man's Sky might be shown off here too, which I am very anxious in seeing more of. We might be seeing more news on Final Fantasy XV and hopefully KHIII as well. Really want to know more about KHIII.

EA and Ubisoft I'm not really caring about. EA will be just about Battlefield, the next sports games, and maybe another Need for Speed that nobody remembers. Ubisoft won't impress me in any way, since Watch_Dogs ended up being REALLY BAD and nothing from them every interests me besides Rayman. Their conference will be fun to watch, at least.

And surprises all over the fucking place.

That was a hell of a show. Gears 4 and EA's part were probably the low points of the show really. Everything else was really cool. I need an Xbone now.

Bethesda's wasn't bad either, so this E3 so far looks to be fantastic.

I completely flipped out when i saw Rare Replay. I can't get over the fact RARE, once a dev forced into the sad world of Kinect when Microsoft revealed it. Is finally coming back from the dead in a big way to celebrate their 30th anniversary. (A $30 collection with some of the best games ever made, and the first home console port of the Arcade version of Battletoads. Plus a completely new IP that looked great and seemingly doesn't use the Kinect at all.) That alone made the conference absolutely amazing in my opinion.

As for the rest of the conference, BC was a pretty huge megaton, Especially considering you don't have to buy the games again unlike PS Now. Recore looked neat. Not seeing Quantum Break (though this was confirmed to happen before the conference started.) was a bit disappointing, and i didn't really care about anything else.

As for the Bethesda conference, the only thing i wanted to see was DOOM, and that's exactly what i got. But the rest of the conference was fairly good too.

Edit: Oh, and i completely forgot to add there was a new (and final) MGSV trailer during that thing Youtube is doing for E3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0W3xRgr70E It looks great, and also incredibly sad. Because it's pretty much confirmed (Kieghley said something about the game being "finished under very different circumstances" before showing the trailer. Plus there's this: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=168026221&postcount=156 ) that this will indeed be the end of Hideo Kojima's tenure at Konami, and the end of Metal Gear.

I haven't watched E3 yet but I've been browsing on Twitter.

Bethesda: I'm looking forward to DOOM actually. I just hope the new id Tech is a lot better than the messy coding of id Tech 5 in terms of modding and optimizations. I'm not that vibe on Fallout 4 after seeing the reveal but I can assume it's going to be the 'mod the shit out of that game until it crashes' thing seen in other Bethesda RPGs.

I haven't cared much about Microsoft this year but the Rare Replay is something to take notes on. I'm personally waiting until the PC press starts late tomorrow and maybe check on Sony's press later tonight.

_Tons of really cool stuff shown yesterday and today so far. Was incredibly interested in Super Mario Maker even though SMBX is a lot more developed than it, Fallout 4 and Doom really, really made me super excited but I currently have my strong doubts for both games (we'll see when they come out), Forza 6's leaked details were all true making Forza 6 a hell of a lot more larger than Forza 5, a good amount of interesting games from them too (including Rare Replay!!) and the Elite controller.

I'd be more hyped for the elite controller if it didn't cost $150 though ://

Also, HoloLens is...............real??? It seems real! hahaha

EA is closing in a few minutes and I honestly have to say, they've been underwhelming to me. NFS looked nice, but man NFS had some underwhelming gameplay too. Customization looked off the chain though.

In general E3 has been going real awesome, and I'm interested in what Sony will bring out.

Yeah, it's insane. I do believe $150 is asking for a bit too much for a controller, but it's real awesome to see Microsoft being flexible with their products because I wouldn't see this happening last gen.

Sony went up and I do have to admit, I found it a bit underwhelming to myself. They've got content but a lot of it didn't catch my eye. No Man's Land, FF7, and The Last Guardian were really nice though.

Overall, I'm happy with E3 so far. I'll be watchin' Nintendo and Square tomorrow.

I kind of forgot E3 stuff was happening today until an hour ago.

What I saw from Sony's conference (maybe half?) wasn't too disappointing. I am a bit baffled as to why World of Final Fantasy is PS4/Vita exclusive, considering the art style and apparent game mechanics.

And I really really really want Super Mario Maker now. September can't come soon enough!
