I don't know if there's another emulator or plugin that let's you do this, but the new angrylion's Per-Pixel RDP plugin now let's you dump DRAM on the fly. You can find the plugin here:
http://www.emutalk.net/threads/55481-angrylion-s-Per-Pixel-RDP-with-OpenGL

The 3rd posts explains how to dump the graphics, and you need to download the tool attached to be able to view the dumps. Should be great for finding unused graphics.

It is highly recommended that if you are going to use this pixel-accurate plugin, to also use his accurate RSP plugin to avoid any bugs or crashes. You can find it here:

I thiiink there's something that already does this, because I've seen extracted N64 textures and models in the past. I could just be plain wrong though.

Also, I seem to remember a plug-in that had an intensely interesting (in my opinion, anyways) "free camera movement" control or something like that, where you could move the camera no matter what game. What emulator had that? I remember the rest of the emulator was total crap except for that one nifty camera plug-in. Which, as far as I know of, no other emulator or plug-in provides.

Yes, this was already possible using plugins like Rice's or Jabo's Direct3D8. What this does is dump the emulated RAM, enabling you to browse for strings or whatever that would be compressed in the ROM.

People have been dumping textures from save states/ROM/VRAM the hard way for ages. This just makes it easier. Very nice!

I'm pretty sure it was Nemu64, but it had certain side effects (if I recall correctly, the skybox in games such SM64 gets a hall of mirrors effect when using it).

Dolphin has that, but that's a Gamecube/Wii emulator, not N64.

It'd be Rice's video plugin, where it has... interesting effects.
