| I think it would be neat to have the option of receiving email updates when someone edits a certain game or series. I'm always on the lookout for updates to particular games or a series as a whole, and find myself revisiting the recent changes list daily in vain. I've looked around, but haven't found such an option present in the current wiki tools. Did I perhaps overlook this option? |

That already exists. All you have to do is watch a page. When you want to see what is updated then click the watchlist link in the upper right corner. Anytime a page is edited that you watched, it will appear in that link. There is an option to receive emails under Email options on the preferences page when a page is edited on your watchlist. I wouldn't recommend that option though since I've had bad experiences with it. For one, it fills up your inbox with any edits made to a page you watch (not all edits are worthy of your attention). The other issue I had was that it stopped working for me for like a 6 month period for no reason at all so I never got emails. Then all of the sudden, I got a bunch of emails about page edits from 6 months back (I think this happened after the servers were upgraded or something). For the longest time I was getting emails about GlitterBerri making edits to the Majora's Mask page. It stopped at some point but it kind of sucked.

And you don't have to look at the watchlist for updates. You can look at the Recent Changes - with that you can see the ones you have subscribed to in bold and you can see the rest in non-bold text.
