Hey dudes, I registered for this forum specifically for help with this subject, and I'm hoping it's in the right place.

I'm a huge fan of the Silent Hill series. I've played the first one so many times I see fog and snow everywhere I go. I've emulated it since my first PS1 died, on my pc and my phone. I know this is nothing new, but I've had a blast using the "walk through walls" cheat to remove barrier detection, specifically so I can explore what lay beyond the world that Team Silent ever intended us to see. I call this area the "5th dimension" as it seems to exist "beyond."

The very first time I was using it, I found an unused bit of the town that (it was just a piece of alleyway) that I'd never been able to find again. It's very difficult to navigate the 5th Dimension because there really is no map. The in game map is only somewhat useful, but it's still very easy to get lost.

I've seen screen shots of someone emulating using PCSX, and getting an on screen HUD of what I believe to be a numerical position of Harry within the game map. If this is possible, I've love to use my limited free time to explore the hell out of Silent Hill (haha).

I want to find all of the unusued areas, and how the seen and unseen areas come together. I've already been mapping the 5th Dimension, seeing how one part of the map connects to others, for awhile. However there's only so much I can do without something like an "XYZ position" to keep me oriented.

If anyone is familiar with what I'm talking about and could offer some help, I'd be glad to share any discoveries.

Thanks in advance.

Xkeeper might know a decent number of things about this, since he made a Lua script a while back with debugging info. He's uploaded a YT vid taken from his Twitch stream.

Good stuff. Looks like some of the things I'd found during my exploration. The debugging info sounds like the way to go. How do I get ahold of Xkeeper?

Usually by giving him a private message or contacting him through IRC.
