Edit: Welp, I don't know how this guy did it. The game crashes if I use a cheat to play as Geese, and I also get a blank portrait in the versus mode, which makes me think this is a hack.
Edit 2: Yep, his other videos mention "patches". This is a hack.

It might be hacked, but I'm not sure how a random hacker would be able to nail SNK's art style like that. It's probably worth poking through the game anyway.

Those graphics are already in the game. They're used in the cutscenes shown after you win a fight.
Edit:
I looked at the game with Kawaks' tileviewer and found a bunch of tiles used to pad out empty space, like the other games I've messed with... as well as some early Hwa Jai character frames stuck in the middle of Richard Meyer's tileset!

Yeah, this is why I just ignored it. It even becomes rather blatant with the first cutscene, since the same exact graphic is used right after the winning portrait.
Also worth noting that sprites in the Neo Geo are glorified tilemaps (using 16×16 tiles, each of which can be assigned, flipped and colored individually). I wouldn't be surprised if the portraits are literally using the original data, because that'd be trivial to do with such a setup. |

All the Geese cutscene stuff is bundled together. Geese and the background, as well as his bodyguard, are in separate tilesets (I always thought it was a single image.) So yes, it's all in there.
But all that stuff is stored far away from everyone else's portrait data.

I'm looking at the graphics and it looks like the graphics I found are early Richard Meyer frames. I'm gonna have to extract and rebuild everything manually, so it's gonna take some time.
(For my own reference: Palette is 2119.)
Edit: Ahahahaha. Looks like Michael Max actually has some graphics to handle two plane stages! He has some for when he's looking at an enemy from the background, but he uses hit frames when he's in the foreground.
And Billy Kane doesn't have any frames for that, apparently.
Edit 2:
This made me curious, so I loaded up Fatal Fury 2, and none of the first three bosses (Billy Kane, Axel Hawk and Lawrence Blood) have any graphics for looking at an enemy in the other plane, shifting planes (rolling or jumping), jumping while the enemy is in the other plane, or punching the enemy into the foreground. Wolfgang Krauser isn't missing anything since his stage is normal. They all have these graphics in Fatal Fury Special - since you could choose any of them normally in that game.

| I want to share some information about fatal fury 1.I find select starting stage in mame and it is working in mame.For using this cheat,start game and select charcter screen appear then you on this cheat.You can check small charcter going on map your own choice stage.Cheat is 100021 and if you want go to final stage value is 07 but map screen is skip when you go to geese building or tower.It mean geese building is unused on map screen.If you check genesis version or snes version.It is really exist on right place on map but arcade version this place is without name.I also find cheat,player starting place on map.This cheat is 100023 and you can check this cheat on map screen changing value 0 to 07.When you check 07 value small player stand in empty place(Geese building)this is really unused in arcade version. |

Well the console versions had one thing the NeoGeo version doesn't - a stage select for versus battles. If I recall correctly the area you wanted to fight in was highlighted in the map.
I tried using that code in Kawaks and it only made the player character uh, move from top to bottom really fast. Can you take a picture of where he's supposed to be standing?

You're good at finding these things.
The unused forest stage that the fat guy has is the stage used for Spirit Powerup bonus levels. That's accessible by changing 108401 to 0F. 0E loads the Life Powerup bonus level, which is a copy of Jack's stage. That still leaves two bonus stages that we can't find: The hangar where John does his super move training, and... I think there was a temple bonus stage too? It's been years, I forget.
Edit: I've added your information on AOF2's stuff. I'll try to add the fatal fury stuff tomorrow.

Street fighter 2 the world warrior if you start 2 player game.you never play both side when time over.Come next round still draw 10 round appear in street fighter 2 the world warrior.10th round is final round.
I find one thing Street Fighter 2 champion edition.If you draw only four rounds appear.Fourth round is final round.I find round cheat.FF8A41 if you use greater value than 04.you can access other rounds but in sf2 champion edition.These rounds are unused also when you hear 10th round(F round) sound unused sound Round Final.
I also check this thing in Super Street Fighter 2.SSF2 also have unused rounds but if you like i can send cheat and pics of ssf2.

I am very busy.I check Freia never in character select value,it comes only ending scenes .Yuri is a full character of aof2.I think game makers want to add in game but in final product they never add yuri and it is unused in character select value.Only come in ending demos. |

Foxhack,Geese Building logo is really exist in Fatal Fury 1.I find cheat of unused Geese Building logo on map screen but only use for logo game is some errors in playing game with cheat.You use cheat 1045BF value 80.I think it is really unused material for your TCRF fatal fury 1 page.
