On my side, not only do the ads not show (I have AdBlock disabled for this forum), but the bottom three bars are also not loading. The error I get when trying to load them is "Warning: str_pad() expects parameter 4 to be long, string given in /home/jul/jul.rustedlogic.net/adnonsense.php on line 126".

Well, for me ads do actually show... but the "never updated money counter" doesn't. The ads only seem to show at the bottom though.

str_pad($s, 7, " ", STR_PAD_LFET);

And nobody noticed until now.

That might be the first time I've actually laughed at something on the internet in weeks. That's amazing.

Blame it on PHP. Any sane language would yell at you for trying to use a constant that doesn't exist. But PHP, instead, assumes you meant to use a string. What.

Some languages have error steamrollers. Some languages are error steamrollers.

Just consider us lucky we didn't use 5.3.

5.3 breaks the login cookies in some cases.

we're actually on php 5.4, which is the latest dreamhost supports for now (without manually compiling php)

PHP actually emits a warning or notice (I forget which). as far as I know it's actually holdover from back when people were doing array keys like $x[this] which is at least defined as Bad and Wrong in PHP's manual.

Notice, yep. Most production servers have them disabled.

Such notices would drown this server anyway, considering AB1.92 is full of $var[key] and other bad things.
