So there's a guy on the NintendoAge forum that's selling a whole load of prototypes. Some with a lot of differences and in early states, and some not, and some that are already dumped. This one is not dumped...yet.
I have a very good friend who's willing to put $550 toward the cost of the cart (which is $1000 total) and I'm willing to put forth an extra $20 of my own hard-earned cash. I figure what we can do is this. If we can get $430 in donations from you guys via PayPal, my friend will buy the cart and he'll also publicly release the ROM and we can work on making a special article on TCRF about it.
What do you guys say? I'll be handling the paypal on this. If you're willing to help (and not have it stuck in a proto hoarder's hands), you can send a PayPal donation of anything you want here:
lefthooktohead@gmail.com
All he asks is that he keeps the physical copy. I don't think that's too much of a stretch seeing as how he's willing to really help out. So what say you, TCRF fans? You interested?

Hey all.
I know I am not well known in these parts, but I've done business on the internet a long time on ebay, digitpress.com, nintendoage, etc. I asked that Rick handle any donations himself so everyone would feel safer making a donation to this cause.
The plan is for to purchase the prototype if we can raise enough $, MarkM and Beaglepuss offer dumps with the purchase of a prototype so there would be no wait on releasing the file. After the rom was released (immediately) to Rick he would then send the donation money to me.
Hopefully this is an acceptable way of doing this, I see this as a great opportunity to get a unique demo/prototype for the NES out into the world and not collecting dust. |

Lemme say too that Arasoi is a close friend of mine so there's nothing to worry about. He's got my backing.

Bummer, I thought the name was an internal in-development/localization name for the western Pokemon R&B gameboy games.

Nope. It's that short-lived 90s fad toy!
We're still looking for donations. Anyone interested in helping out? Outside of Xkeeper there's only $30 so far in the kitty.

You're close those.
MiMP was a toy line that was the reason Pokemon was renamed in the west. |
