In preparation for Mew, I downloaded My Pokémon Ranch, though I knew ahead of time I couldn't use it with Platinum. HeartGold oughtta get me a few more once I purchase that as well. For once, it appears that FireRed and LeafGreen won't offer me any Pokémon that I don't already have access to!

EDIT:
Oh yeah, I'll have to make a pit stop in Platinum so I can collect Regigigas on the way up.

Park Balls don't actually reset the Pokeball that the migrated Pokemon was caught in. It stays in whatever you captured it in.

So when I restarted Emerald to get a second round of Regis, I also got a second round of weathermons in the process. Not only that, but I purchased HeartGold on Amazon yesterday, so pretty much the only legendary I don't have access to is Lugia (Reshiram notwithstanding; I traded a spare Giratina for that). Heck, I thought, I'll post that spare Rayquaza on the GTS for a Lugia and see if it gets any bites.



It appears to be from a Nintendo event back in the FireRed/LeafGreen days, and it's made its rounds through Diamond/Pearl/Platinum before it got to me. I hope someone is really happy with their new Rayquaza.

So with the new feature in X/Y where female Pokemon pass down their ball type when breeding, people have started caring about what ball they catch Pokemon in before they start breeding... and yes, this still applies for Kurt's balls from HG/SS and the Dream Ball of generation 5 (the only exceptions are the Cherish Ball and Master Ball).

A while back, I found a list of every single Pokemon that could be caught in a given type of ball: it listed all the wild Pokemon in HG/SS for Kurt's balls, the Pokemon in the HG/SS bug contest for the Sport Ball, all Safari Pokemon (in gen 3 and 4) for the Safari Ball, all the Dreamworld Pokemon for the Dream Ball, and also the trade-able balls in generation 3 for female starters in Coliseum.

Would anyone here happen to have seen this list as well, and have a link to it?
