I found it back in August/September 2008, by searching Youtube for NSMB videos and falling across videos of edited levels. Then finding Ninjifox's old website, which linked to Board2 and this place. ____________________ |

I was getting into SMW romhacking and SMWCentral, and after a while started getting interested in if NSMB had a romhacking scene... From there I learned about Treeki and Reggie, and about this time New Super Mario Bros. Wii came out and people here were discovering that most of the data was stored/handled similarly, so I decided to join to watch the progress. I think one of my first posts was agreeing to call the new editor "Shiggy", a nickname I still use to this day when referring to Mr. Miyamoto  ____________________

| I first found out about SMW hacking through Lunar Magic. Looked at the links in FuSoYa's site and noticed it linked to Acmlm's Board, and decided to sign up. Back then, Acmlm's Board was in it's second iteration, and I have been following this community from that time, through the third Acmlm's Board iteration, through the split between ||board (now defunct) and Acmlm's Board 2 (now just known as Board2), and finally when the split happened between Board2 and Jul.
It's been one long ride, but it's been an interesting one to say the least. ____________________  |

I joined Acmlm's Board back in early 2006 after finding it through a Google image search. (What I was looking for has long been forgotten.) After its collapse in early 2007, I joined its successor, Acmlm's Board 2. Not long after Jul went public in mid-2007, a link was posted somewhere on Board 2, and I registered here.
After the Board 2 / Jul split that shortly followed, I left both boards for a few months since I was neither interested nor involved with much of the personal disputes that caused all this instability. When I returned in late 2007, I came back to Jul, and I've been here ever since. No regrets. ____________________ layout by Sofi. |

Got bored sometime in 2002, browsed Zophar's Domain for ROM hacking stuff, found FuSoYa's site which had a link to Acmlm's board somewhere, registered there, registered there again a couple of years later and once again even later, and that led to this. ... ... ... Yeah yeah, lame joke I know. I found Jul through TCRF. I decided to register because there was this huge thread dissecting Wind Waker stuff here. It was, more or less, an extension of TCRF to me at the time so it seemed logical to be apart of it. I guess the only thing surprising to me is that I am still here after almost 2 years.
