He he, thanks!
For me it's going to be a season of lazyness. (>implying the normal days I'm not lazy)

Also, remember Santa is always watching you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. I hope everyone had a great time today, whether it was with family, friends or both.

Now I just need to figure out what I'm getting myself for Christmas since I did such a great job with everyone else. Seriously, I think I spoiled people this year. But it's all good.

I got some socks, new pants, and a hoodie, a couple of DVDs, and a friend got me a cheap little K-Cup coffee maker with some K-Cups to boot. OuO

There was plenty of other awesome stuff too, like my Adventure Time figures, gum, and some helpful gift cards. I have some things still coming, though strangely I didn't get a cent in cash. o.o

I mainly got alcohol and edibles. I bought pretty much everything I wanted a while ago I did get £150, so that's awesome. I prefer to have people just throw money at me so I can get what I like. £150 down, £4,850 to go!

Also, 2 shot glasses and four flavours of Schnapps arranged in the shape of a hammer. I almost don't want to drink it. Almost.

Got some chocolate, an ornament of a bird, $25 Amazon gift card, $25 AMC gift card, some girly-type clothes that I'll likely never use, a doubled set of flat brushes from my mom and sister and a lava lamp.

It could've been better. Not to sound selfish or anything, but I'm kind of disappointed. Guessing that's what inevitably happens when parents get old and your closest sibling needs to focus on her kids and money's tight all around. And your relatives still haven't figured out your preference of clothing.

Yeah I know about the gift cards, but I have no idea how I should use them right now, so they're kinda invisible right now.

Lava lamp's pretty cool though. And having two of the same set of brushes will ensure I won't need to get more for a while.

:\ meh

I did not get much for Christmas, but I am glad for what I did receive from my parents. In an email, father asked earlier this month what I wanted for Christmas, much to my surprise, so I told him. With father financially struggling with mother's expensive medical treatments (she has dialysis, diabetes, and other related medical complications), I kept it simple and practical, and asked him for only a Ti-89 Titanium calculator and some money. I received both. The Ti-89 is to upgrade from my Ti-84 SE for my engineering-level calculus and math classes, and the money is for incoming college expenses. I received both and also some sugar-free candy, some clothes, and a Tracfone minutes card from my parents, much to my surprise . Quantitavely, the amount of gifts was small, but I am not complaning.

It wasn't so much the gifts that I was really looking forward to; it was social and family gatherings which I looked forward to most. This was my first year at a University dorm and at the new University for the Quest of the Bachelor's Degree, so coming back to home for the season and not having to worry about buying food, studying for tests, and just taking a break was just what I needed from the stress from last semester. Earlier during the break, I voluntarily and thoroughly cleaned up the house, since it really needed it. On Dec 20, father offered to take a few good high school/Eagle Scout friends and I to Pizza Hut in order to catch up and to eat. Father was our Scoutmaster back in the day in our Boy Scout Troop. On Dec 21, a few high school friends and I went to dinner, played some air hockey at the mall's arcade, and then watched Anchorman 2 in theaters (which is hilarious BTW). And today, the family and I visited my aunt's house, with other members of the family visiting too. With being introduced to the stress of a whole new college and to dorm life for the first time, it was nice to briefly return back to familiar faces and surroundings.

For the rest of the break (which ends Jan 13), I plan on just catching up on my hobby software engineering projects and rom hacking, and searching for an internship for the summer .

It's bad Christmas has already ended... oh well.

Time for being lazy even more.

Anyway, at the end I DID get something for Christmas (which is very important): that call to the internet provider for the Wireless password reset.

This means I can finally use my iPad to browse the internet! Yay it's even slower than my usual internet connection. :/

Went to my grandparents house yesterday, which was nice, until the extended family joined in. An aunt and uncle of my dad's who I barely know and an uncle and his close family who I've never even met before. It's all fun and games until your dyspraxia kicks in and you practically seal yourself in the kitchen to cope! Thankfully, some alcohol allowed me to unwind a little and get more or less comfortable. It wasn't a bad night after that, though I am really not fond of kids. By all the complaints from my dad and my grandparents, I wasn't the only one.

Hopefully, next year, we'll all have a little more money and can afford something more than spending £10 at Poundland for poops and giggles. It's still fun to do, but kinda screams how little money we have. Especially considering that my dad asked if he could borrow some of my student loan to buy my mum's present. On the upside, I got an SSD in return, so I'm not complaining!

-Super Mario 3D World
-Twilight Princess for GameCube (I've been wanting to play this forever)
-$20 3DS Money Card
-Apple 30-pin Digital AV Adapter for my iPhone
-Some other random small things and money

I think I realized that probably the key factor in my bleh response to my loot is that it was very low-tech.

I got some nice stuff.

-Ratchet & Clank Collection
-Jak and Daxter Collection
-Sennheiser wireless headphones
-Blue Snowball microphone
-New Android phone

I'm perfectly fine with this. Lots of gaming to do with those two collections as it is, and the headphones are a nice gesture since the headset I used always bothered me with the cords.

The mic, on the other hand, is phenomenal and is a good excuse for me to try my hands at video creation again.

I got a new little female hamster in Secret Santa. My mom also paid someone to make a Mario hat. The problem is, the cap will arrive January 10. Well, it's not very bad, since it's already near the aforementioned day.
