Wondering how many VMs do people who use any virtualization software have. Woo hoo. Here are mine:

Virtual PC (not used as much as before - old VMs):

- Microsoft OS/2 1.3
- Whistler Build 2250
- OpenGEM 5
- A customized Debug Windows 1.03. It's quite crashy.
- Windows 2.11
- Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- Windows 7 Genius Edition (why not )
- Windows 95 + Tandy Deskmate (a failed experiment to add every crap possible to a Deskmate install - Windows 95 - was choosen for its lightweight shell)
- Windows 95 Italian (actually OSR2 - it was originally so hard to find it got its own VM - now, not so much)
- Windows 95B Plus (the same but in English, with PLUS!)
- Windows 98 SE PLUS!
- The following Chicago builds in different VMs: 73g, 81, 122, 189, 222 German, 224, 347, 440
- Windows Multi System Bootable (name choice aside, it's essentialy MS-DOS 3.30A running Win1.03-2.11-3.0 - It's named bootable to differentiate from the long gone unbootable version :/)
- Neptune 5111
- NT 4.0
- XP RTM

VMware (newer VMs go here):
- Windows NT 4.0 Advanced Server (contains also Windows NT 3.51)
- Windows 2000 Advanced Server (sigh)
- Windows NT 3.1 October 1991
- Windows NT 3.1 October 1992 (surprisingly it works in compatibility mode)
- Chicago Build 58s
- Chicago Build 73g
- Windows Upgrade (the name makes sense, somewhat)
- Windows 98 SE (the one with a copy of the 60GB malware collection - good thing VMware supports snapshots)
- Windows for Workgroups 3.11
- Windows XP Professional RTM (egyptian bootleg edition - used to test rogues along other crap)

Although most of the VMs are compressed, this along with the ISOs take up more than 300GB of disk space (400GB if they weren't compressed). All of this inside a 1 TB hard drive. :/

I have two VMs set up in VirtualBox, though I rarely use them. One's a Windows XP installation for when I need to install stuff that I don't want bogging down my main machine, and the other one's running a Linux web server for when I need to host files.

Similar here, I only have 2 VMs, and I rarely use them. One is an XP x86 VM and the other is a Windows 95 VM, both for running software incompatible with my host x64 machine. Technically I "have" a 3rd VM, which is hosted by the University and is accessible via VMWare, for accessing my network drive and for utilizing some of the University's software. However, upon logon, a giant disclaimer yells at you saying that all activity is monitored. I dare not use it for anything other than school/work related stuff .

I use VMWare.
