Hm, I seem to have done something wrong when I tried to reply using telnet...

Anyway, I connected to Jul's server and sent this to start the thread:

POST /newthread.php HTTP/1.1

I did something similar once, logged into a server with Telnet then ran Lynx (text-only browser) on it:



Yeah, the display messed up pretty bad, but it still worked

I would advise not posting with telnet unless you a) know what you're doing and b) understand that, if you get IP banned, it's your fault and I'm not fixing it for at least 48 hours.

Eh, I prefer to take the wacky (but safe) way and post with a Sega Saturn.

Of course, the CSS it won't render is a pain, but it sorta works... at 28.8kbps >.<

Just a friendly reminder to avoid posting with Telnet if you want to avoid getting banned.

The only reason I mention this is becase Im currently doing a lot of protections on it for our automated spammer and you really don't want to be instantly IP banned.

No, but a lot of the things I have coded tend to give less false positives if you just post normally.
