I remember a dream in which I was in a post-apocolyptic Earth, and zombies were converging at me from all directions. Somehow I shoved my way past them into a long-abandoned subway tunnel, but there weird robots burrowed into the ground and tried to impale me with spikes from below. Me (and a group of other people) managed to escape, but the zombies then began chasing again, alongside some weird green men. I ran into another cave, where there was a deeper part inside with a railway-like bridge over an endless nothing. The zombies came with the weird green men, but slightly darker, tougher green men hurled weird things that looked liek Devils Food cookies at them and instantly killed them. Of course, they were after me, but I managed to escape to the outside and then... woke up, thoroughly confused. Most of my dreams involve mortal combat, be it realistic or not. Often times I've encountered monsters and evil people whom I've had to kill or destroy. These would be nightmares, but my control during dreams is strong enough that any monsters that appear are often killed by me instead, if I don't indirectly kill them by corrupting the world the dream is in. As for creativity, from what I've heard, it stems from a deep emotional injury sustained that never heals, but instead causes one to describe similar things and life experiences. Considering the trauma in my life, it draws out the literary impulses within me... and it shows. At a recent roleplaying battlefield thing, when faced with a stronger opponent, I brought out writing abilities I didn't know I prior had. I barely defeated that guy, yet I am in line against the person they favor the most. My expectation is for it to trigger even more of that ability... I almost fear what sort of words it might conjure up from my subconsious. ____________________

I've had dreams more fucked up than that. I'd go into detail but I have a feeling that people will hurl if I did. :\

And yea, if you train up that writing sense, and actually go over it as much as you can, you'll get better. It's the only way I have a 220+ page write file (project) as it is write now.

I can only remember parts of two dreams that I have had, one of my dreams that I remember having when I was younger was of a small toy robot chasing me while making sparks.

The other part is of my only lucid (well semi-lucid) dream I ever had. I told myself to fly and I could, however I could not change anything else. Also for some odd reason something kept covering my face.

My sister said she had a dream where Hitler was driving at our house with a Land Rover--in T-shirt and jeans! And then he was climbing up the walls like a spider, and he was about to enter my room, and my sister tried to warn me... and I just went "Yeah, right" and continued on as Hitler was about to invade my room. Lately I've been messing with my sleep pattern in hopes of actually getting some nice dreams. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working and If I dream at all I only remember very little, mostly the parts right before I wake up.

EDIT: I also have certain dreams I can vividly remember that I had when I was as young as five. They're all nightmares so I guess that's the only reason they stick in my head at all.

I meant in general, I can't remember anything. The few times I can (which is maybe once a month), I don't bother.

I usually get that realism, then I realize it's a dream and begin using my funky Matrix-like abilities there. Seriously. It's like I can telekinetically kill stuff in my dreams. And fly. And generate weapons out of mid-air. And kill people by pushing them. Although that's too easy, so I usually twist the existence of what bothers me in my dreams until it self-destructs.. Needless to say, I wish I could bring some of my mental abilities out into the real world. At least, some telekinesis or psychic powers would be useful. >.> ____________________

I've only had one (two?) lucid dreams, and it (both?) ended literally after I finally said "wow, I'm lucid".

One of them I ended up waking up just before I slammed into the nearest wall. Ouch.

I once drank water in my sleep. I even walked downstairs, asked for a glass of water, got one, drank it, and went back to bed. And I was asleep the whole time.. didn't remember doing it or anything. Must be some great ability though--I certainly won't get dehydrated in my sleep! ____________________
