Actually I was thinking more of clearing the FG and giving it a background, as some sort of one screen puzzle game or something. It looks too overkilled to be part of a greater stage...

Then making another level or something. Probably the "bonus land" at the pipe there.


But That of the dual screen is nice. The stats make me think of how'd be a simultaneous 2P arcade SMB would be.

Yay! More space !

I like the dual screen idea. It's great, even when the screen is all clutered with everything that we drew.

By the way, the blocks below the pipe were mine, but I don't mind If you had to remove them for something you have been working on for a long time .

Alrighty then. First, I fixed Ikachan. Now he looks more like Ikachan.

There was something about that flying dope guy that was just kinda out of place, but it wasn't so bad to the point where I had to remove it, so I just changed it slightly

The torpedo thing now has a more awesome facial expression

I changed the P switch to a ! switch, for more variety.

The ONO switch is now a flattened switch (since it wasn't up all the way anyway, maybe that switch makes the key appear?)

Altered Kirby just a tiny bit, to make him cuter looking.

I didn't like the dithering pattern on those disappearing blocks, so I changed it.

Added a highlight to the door, and changed the color a little.

Fixed the highlights on the upright cannon.

Added the missing border to the FDS box thing.

This looks amazing!

Ok, now it's a hat again, and I added a "pool" on the right.

Edit: Forgot, I altered the water surface a little bit, because it didn't line up in the 16x16 grid.

Kirby was supposed to have a "¬¬" face. Notice how the part of his face covering his eyes is shaded.

It's kinda like some sort of puzzle... Attack Kirby or jump in the spring and you instantly get eaten, same if you attack the other dude there. You have to press the ONO switch, which causes the spikes to drop on you or Kirby. Save Kirby and you will be able to get the key and talk/atttack with the guy there which gives you a special item or something.
I guess I simply thoght too much about it...

(And thanks for fixing Ikachan.)



Anyways... restored Kirby and unpressed the switch. (trying to keep the new shading though, but I kinda failed with it) Also added more of the left layout and some fishes, and an "evil version" of what I assume is the player.
