Eh, this one should pair up with the other thread I've made yesterday, but I didn't feel to derail it to something else.

Are there any games from your childhood that you really loved, only to find out they were horrible when you grew up?

Personally, back then I've played so many low quality Flash games that a list would fill up this server...

Ah well, probably, in a much vaguer way, Sonic Chaos. What's worse is I thought this game was difficult, as I couldn't get past the first boss...
Also, Super Bust-a-Move for the GBA. It doesn't really suck that bad, but still it's not the best Bust-a-Move games ever. I don't even have it in my "Emulation" folder, and considering Sonic Spinball GBA is inside, that's saying something.

I loved Bubsy, despite how ridiculously hard it is (one hit kills you the entire game, including fall damage, while you're moving at crazy speeds) because it starred a cat.

Jak 3. While much better than Jak II (and still worse than the Precursor Legacy, of course), it's driving "physics" piss me the hell off. And yet, this was the game I really, really wanted 8 or so years ago. How weird. Not a totally horrible game, but I can't recall anything worse.

It's no secret around here that I love Monster Party. I love it now because of how cracked-out it is, but when I was a kid? I thought it was legitimately a good game. >>;;
