Yep, we're sure getting into Christmas... what all the shops around here will think in a matter of weeks.

Two whole months before the actual Christmas, and like last year, they'll sell every possible Christmas toy at an insane price, without even waiting Halloween to finish.

At least, it means we can buy some Christmas lights and decorations any time soon.

Yep, we're sure getting into Christmas... what all the shops around here will think in a matter of weeks.

Actually, I'm super excited about the lights myself. I was recently thinking about buying Christmas lights and just having them around all-year since they create this soft, calming effect. I'd have to get the right kind, though, so it doesn't look too festive. It's a technique a number of my friends seem to use in decorating their abodes.

I don't know about you guys, but these past few years, christmas has seemed a bit less... christmas-y.. Whether if it's because I'm spending more and more time on a computer, or that there's less of a golden glow during the nights since we changed to LED lights (for all of our lights), or maybe some of the spirit's just been slipping away I don't really know :\

I think you need to spend it with the right people and put the right effort into it. Christmas last year was a huge drag but this year since I'm living with my partner and we have our own apartment and we'll probably get to decorate it, I'm super excited.

Lucky you. Not everyone will be lucky this year. I expect the usual Christmas, along with the insanity (I'm not exaggerating) of the last minutes of New Year's Eve.

At lease we have lots of lights and decorations (and a Christmas tree).
