Holy crap!!

That's pretty scary. I wonder what that fluid even smelled or looked like. He must have gotten stuff from his brain everywhere.

I'm pretty grossed out.

Ok, I'm scared now.

How would something like that even develop?

I'm kind of surprised you can spend several years with your brain leaking and be totally fine.

So in that sense the article is actually reassuring

I'm still really grossed out by the fact that it might have been dripping onto his hands or his tables or his keyboard or his food. He might have swallowed some, too. Ugh, this is so gross.

I hate how I keep visiting Innocent Town every few weeks and then end up rereading this topic and keep piling up my disgusted replies. I hope this guy never works in food service. I can't imagine what sort of people would be exposed to his brain fluid in their food. Can you say "unintentional eggs and brains"?

Let's not be so quick to judge here- maybe it adds flavor.

Usually it adds flavor but typically it needs some salt and pepper.

Apparently this condition is known as "spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leak" and affects 5 out of every 100,000 people. It is twice as common in women as it is in men.

Cerebrospinal fluid is high in sodium and probably tastes pretty similar to mucus. Imagine if you started leaking so much cerebrospinal fluid that it resulted in a post-nasal drip and you got to taste your own brains all the time.

Ew, gross.

I guess it must be salty. It's just weird because I imagine it as this really viscous semiclear fluid but I looked it up and it's actually really clear. I wonder if it has a viscosity like water or if it's closer to mucus.

We should test with devin.
