Hello, thanks to Joe of this forum I've fixed 1 of the 3 censorships (in comparison to the original arcade version) of this game.
But I would fix also the other censorships.
Censorships:
1: The trophy girl that was covered with an orrible grey t-shirt (done, watch the result in the spoiler)
2: (very important) Roadkill routine (run down deers and cows, not is cruel, but Nintendo have removed them entirely from the tracks).
3: The ending with the president, Nintendo have removed their sprites and voices (but with the sounlist tool of Subdrag I've found the voices into the rom).
And for last thing apply the changes also in the virtual console channel of the game.
Then, I know that the game was censored before the release but that was ready and born uncensored, maybe, and I say maybe, the roadkill routine is only turned off (in the arcade version in the system menu you could do it) and the sprites of the president maybe are present like the voices.
But know the more important thing is to restore the roadkill routine, please can you help me? The roadkill maybe was only turned off, place in random points some deers in the IOWA track and some cow in the INDIANA track, if turned off in the arcade they don't appear exactly like in the censored N64 version.
Then you can help me to fix this problem please? Maybe with a debugger in the IOWA or INDIANA track?
Now you can download the patches for the fixes censorships, now the patch for the Trophy girl is available! The patches are for the european version and the U (V 1.0) version, not for byteswapped roms, you can use Lunar LIPS for patch them.

Do you like Cruis'n USA?
I hope to meet who'll help me to restore at least the roadkill function, that is also my favourite.
And I hope to apply the changes also in the VC channel, I'd be very happy.
Several sources (including Wikipedia) say that the game was censored after completion, and which was delayed for 2 months for this reason, due to the censorship problems.
So I guess just like in the arcade version (the N64 port was very faithful) the roadkill routine could be turned on and off.
Maybe then someone is able to re-turn on the routine also in the Nintendo 64 version...
