| The assist trophies have low poly models just like the Pokemon... perhaps a bit better then some of them(like the ones who's Pokemon Battle Revolution models harken back to the N64 days), they just have models and textures made just for Brawl, rather then the ones taken from elsewhere. I still think this alludes to a high Pokemon count, though. |

That reminds me- the Pokemon Trainer looks like the stupidest character in Brawl. Swapping out between three Pokemon to attack doesn't sound like fun... I prefer blowing things up with Snake.

I think I would try out the trainer before shelving him with the BS characters... Maybe he could amount to something!

Waluigi was made just to be an extra. Somebody else to put in the Mario Sports/Party/Kart games. He's never even co-stared in a game. For him to appear in a game that isn't Mario characters only is something amazing.
Basically, he's an extra that nobody cares about, and he was created only to be the rival of Luigi. (Explaining why he's always so mad and evil.  )

They were made to be evil rivals, not the opposite of their rivals. :/

I doubt it. Which is a pity, because everything else in the game seems great (except for the questionable Pictochat level).  |

Actually, I think the Pokemon Trainer has a lot of potential if played by an expert. Somebody who can take advantage of all the move-sets.
I can't see many people doing this, though, so I think he'll just wind up as a specialist character. :/ |

The Pokemon Trainer is exactly like Shiek/Zelda, except it requires you to switch or suffer the consequences (or so the site says).
Besides, you have yet to see him in action. Why are you drawing conclusions about things you haven't seen in action fully?

| I still am wondering what this stamina thing they speak of is, do the Pokemon get weaker fast if not left in the Pokeball? Is it to keep players from abusing the ability to have a lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight all at once? Will good players be able to push through the issues it may cause and abuse the abilities? |

I'm guessing a Pichu self-hurting thing. Stay out too long and you steadily take damage. Switch too much and you take more damage too.
We'll just have to wait.

I don't like a certain kind of character in a certain video game. Typically I like innovation, in anyvideo game. It's just that I don't think this will work well. |

But I THINK that it's bad. The whole point is that I don't need evidence to support my theory. When I said that the Pokemon trainer looked stupid, that was my own opinion. I didn't expect people to agree with me, but that's my own opinion I formulated from the screenshots and the description.  |
