Yep. Would've done something more, but it was something of a miracle that I remembered.  I knew it was around July 23rd sometime, but not the exact date.

Justus League. If you've ever wondered why some people (incorrectly) spell it as JuL, now you know.
It's a reused joke from somewhere else; the gist is that the original "incarnation" was a small side-forum for a few people, like you sometimes see people doing. It was pretty quiet and was mostly just a private place for friends to gather. JL2 (this place) started much the same way when things with blackhole89 and friends were going sour over at board2... and after he threw his temper tantrum, it turned public and became Jul proper soon after... That's why early regdates are 7/03, while the "real" anniversary is 7/22. The undercurrent of "elitism" is still here, of course; there's a hidden powerlevel (that you can't see unless you're a mod or admin) that allows you access to a few extra forums. It's mostly reserved for people who are trustworthy and long-term members. It's just that now it's on the board instead of on a separate one, heh. For the most part, though, you aren't missing much if you're not a part of it. It's mostly used for venting/ranting amongst friends. ____________________ |

Actually, I figured out a little while ago(say this past week) that there are hidden forums on Jul. I figured it out when I was looking through some posts in the Innocent Town. There was one link I clicked that clearly was to somewhere else on Jul but then I wasn't allowed access because I wasn't an admin or moderator and I got kicked back to Jul's main page. It makes sense though. I mean, if I were an admin, I would also want a private forum to talk to close friends as well. All in all, some pretty cool and interesting reads are on Jul.
