I know this thread sounds kinda spammy, but I'm trying to find a full retail version of Windows 7 Pro - the boxed one, not a key, nor OEM - and most sellers on eBay want outrageous prices for it. Even used. I want it so I can make my computer dual-boot and play games that won't run on Windows 7 with my XP Pro.
Any idea where I could look?
Oh, I don't want 8. PERIOD.

"Anything over $100".
I want a cheap, legal version. And I don't want to pay MSRP. ^^;

Technically, OEM should fit your needs perfectly fine, unless you don't like buying a new Windows license any time you buy a whole new machine.
Then again, what do I know? I don't "upgrade" my hardware, I buy whole new machines and tend to keep the older machines running elsewhere in my house, serving some purpose or other. |
