I finally got the fifth gold star in New Super Mario Bros. U after realizing I was missing a single, unimportant secret exit. And in the process, I found a little glitch!

In Rock-Candy Mines-3 (the tower with light blocks), there is a section where a couple of Swoopers hang onto moving blocks just above the ground. If you freeze one while it is just above the ground and let it defrost when the block is over it, and instead of flying away, it will cling to the block again. However, it will be upside-down, so that its head is stuck to the block and its feet are dangling. Also, for a second or so, the glow that should be on its eyes will float down around its body.

I started playing Papo & Yo after getting it on Steam.

This game is kind of annoying at points, with Monster being a total pain in the arse.

I was playing some Black Ops 2 and tried to record with my HD PVR by Elgato Gaming. But it felt like this whole game I'm against all odds on. The lag, the spawns, the community, the random freezing before returning to lobby. Just to name a few.

So I got tired of this whack and went on to Path of Exile for some time killing. Might move on to recording some Blacklight Retribution and Neverwinter gameplay videos, with my Open Broadcaster Software and a configuration file to increase the FPS for BLR.

EDIT: I didn't buy BO2 btw. Just borrowed the copy from my cousin out of town.

Played some Castle Storm on XBLA. I think its quite a good game. Its slightly different from the usual Castle Defence. I happened to win it via Twitter so i'm not sure how much it costs but i do know it will be in the XBLA marketplace May 29th.

Doesn't Black Ops 2 have CODcasting where you can stream your game straight to Youtube or Twitch (Twitch is better in my opinion)?

I've been playing Mario And Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move

It's a cute, if somewhat hair-tearing puzzler. I do like that they included an editor, though!

It does have the CODcasting feature, but I think it outputs the resolution of 360p 30fps based on what I've checked on Twitter users. I just stick with my Elgato Game Capture HD and Open Broadcaster Software for livestreaming my console games (which my Gold subscription is now expired and all I have left is a 2-day trial card, might not plan to renew my subscription due to other budgeting plans, such as getting a good gaming PC), although I can't do 720p 60fps output with the specs I'm using.

Anyways, I purchased the complete Unreal collection for only $10 on Steam. You can't beat that given Unreal Tournament 2004 was $15 alone and UT3 was $20 by itself.

After watching some GameGrumps, we decided we wanted to play Kirby Air Ride again. We fumbled around but couldn't find our memory card with our save data on it, so we started over. We played City Trial for a while, then did some races.

In Checker Knights, two of us managed to get a perfect tie. On the last leg of the course, my brother was somewhat ahead. I hit the red button that raises the wall, and he got stuck on it. Then, in a last ditch effort, I spun into him. We were both still colliding as we passed the finish line, and were stunned to see both of us had crossed as 1st Place.

I've been playing Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on the PS3. I've already managed to catch up to and pass my dad in completion, with all Gold Bricks, Power Bricks and Minikits from all 36 levels, and all 20 Bounty missions done, plus the 14 Gold Bricks that you can buy and the 6 from the special levels, PLUS all of the characters and all but one ship.

All I need to do now is figure out how to unlock that last ship, collect the Blue Minikits from the 36 levels and complete the 6 Super Stories to get 100% completion.

I've also been playing a lot of Minecraft and am continuing the excavation of my 65x65 quarry. Barrels and the extra-dimensional storage upgrade are so useful.

I finally got around to finishing Link's Awakening! Yay! Not 100%, but I only missed 8 Heart Pieces. This is actually my first time really beating it, since I don't think I got past the 4th or 5th dungeon when I first had it on the GBC.

I've been playing The Mega Drive version of The Adventures of Batman And Robin. This game is pretty fun. Made it up to the level where the game becomes a top down scrolling shooter then lost my last life. This is probably going to take me awhile to beat due to its difficulty.

Temple Run 2. I've decided that until my exams are over, I'm not going to sink my time into a game I can easily fall into, like Twilight Princess which I want to play so much right now. So, piddly little mobile games that I get bored of easily fit the bill.

Temple Run 2 would be far more enjoyable if the mine-cart segments were a little more thought out. Suddenly needing to switch track because you're about to hit a wall is pretty much impossible most times. Reaction time plus the time it takes for the mine-cart to actually tilt far enough is far longer than the time you're given to do it in. But eh. Free mobile game. I'm not expecting the time of my life.

I've been playing Dead Island on Steam. It was on sale for 5 bucks recently. I haven't gotten far at all and have trouble finding time to play. It's super crazy and unlike anything I've ever played. I'm relatively new to co-op games (I don't really own any newer systems) and this is a far cry more complicated than Left4Dead. But, it's pretty interesting. My friends distract the hell out of me so I forget what I'm trying to do a lot, unfortunately, and get caught up in shenanigans. So while that hasn't helped my progress much, it's sure kept things entertaining.

And the peculiar thing is this, my friends. The signature I made on that fateful night didn't actually look anything like this signature! This is just a tribute. You've gotta believe me, and I wish you were there. Just a matter of opinion. Ah, fuck! Good God, God lovin'. So surprised to find you can't stop it. All right! All right.

Just finished the Deathmatch tier in Unreal Tournament. I forgot how much fun that game was. It's even more fun when you ghost out of levels to see how they're put together. Next time you play a match in DM-Galleon, just sink the camera beneath the water. Gives it away that above the water is a portal to a different part of the map, and opening it up in the editor shows it too. I love the way they've built some of these maps.
