Do DS demos (like the zelda preview trailer), count as prototypes/should they be on the wiki?

This stuff was never meant to be sold or widely distributed.
And some do contain unused content.
Some of them are prototypes of games, but what about ones which are not?

If it's like Star Wars Republic Commando's demo, which just had a few maps and edited .INIs, but contained stock material, it shouldn't count. However, if it does contain unused content that the stock doesn't, I'd say it counts.

What about things which are not games or are tech demos?

No idea. TCRF is for games and relations in the system hardware, so perhaps...

I recall a GameBoy Color techdemo is currently on the wiki.

if it's different to the final then yes, always.

this goes for other "promotional demos" too. I know Minish Cap has some areas that have some differences and it'd be nice to have them documented, even if they aren't particularly unused. Think revision changes.

TCRF isn't just about unused stuff, after all.
