True. It does get boring after a while, but that's why I love making family with a specific thing. Last time I had a family that ran it's own business and had like a million billion kids.

I do remember one time I ended up with a town where most people were related. Also it randomly occurred to me that I could be killing Sims ... that sounds more fun.

Hm, I didn't even know farming was possible. Is it just another career where your sim just goes away somewhere and comes back several hours later with money? Or is it a do-at-home thing like the phone Sim games?

I'm trying to think of things to do with my Sims so I don't end up uninstalling it out of boredom.

It's something that came with Sims 2 Seasons, I believe. Maybe Freetime. But you can buy trees or make plots of land for planting and literally make your own business that way if you just sell all the produce. The last harvest my family made $28,000 doing that, and they were skimming on the ground at that point. Celebrated by getting them a car and a larger orchard among other upgrades. Like getting the husband and wife their own room and the family a puppy.

I didn't realize AMD had a new Legacy driver for the HD 2xxx-4xxx series, but I suppose they had to do that to make sure the Source engine games are playable on Ubuntu/Linux Mint. Catalyst 12.6 caused a fatal error when starting Team Fortress 2, and 13.1 fixed it. Startup time and loading is a lot longer than the Windows version, but I haven't tested the game in motion yet.

Layouts aren't that hard, I'd recommend taking a look at other people's layouts to see how they did it.

I would recommend changing your avatar though, as it's a bit wider than the guidelines call for. Also, welcome to the site!
