Just thank them for the offer but state that you've been looking into some other alternatives and leave it at that.

It's a nice offer but... maybe we're jaded, but yeah. History. Even if this turned out to be a great move... how many times have we done the same thing in the past? And how many times did it haunt us?

I think about the only time a move actually worked out was the 5 minutes the server was on my server, during which nothing at all problematic happened, and then it moved right onto the servers it ultimately is on now.

All other historic moves basically ended in stupidity. Utter, utter stupidity.

How dare you steal that idea. Why I have half a mind to report you to the authorities!

...But the other half really doesn't care so in the end I'm too apathetic and lazy to do anything about this and will instead focus my energy on being glad that things are getting upgraded anyway. WELL THEN!
