IT'S A NEW RECORD!

Try reading some of the books. They DO measure everything.

Ω > U
I've seen old 1976 copies and had a 2000 dated copy at one time. It's the only reason I know that Michael Jackson has them for Grammy Awards (11).

I've leafed through the books before, but I never came across something like "Record for flying the farthest after getting hit by a car." I have seen some, uh, weird stuff in The Guiness Book of World Records (like heaviest baby, person with most piercings on body), but nothing I've read goes to this extent.
Actually, I may go to the library and read through the entire thing. Maybe I missed the "Incredibly Weird" section of the book.

I wonder how it'd feel to if an accident you were in years ago showed up in the book. It'd be a nice surprise, I suppose, but also kinda weird. An incredibly fine silver lining to the whole experience, I guess, though I'd rather have to gone through it, these are the kind of records you don't want to set. Of course, someone is going to see this article, get some crazy super-cushion suit, and a 400 MPH car(they do exist) and see how far he can fly.

Someone is definitely going to do that, but I never understood the motivation people get from making records from doing crazy, weird stuff. Other that having your name published in a record book for a year (because inevitably someone else will beat your record by the next release of Guiness), I don't see any benefits.

Guinness World Records measures EVERYTHING
I have a small book of North American records from '06.
Apparently Super Mario Bros. 3 was the best-selling game of all time. They showed the boxart for Super Mario Advance 4

Oh yeah, I also saw a record for largest natural breasts...

It was funny how they used the smallest possible print, one sentence.

Of course, no pics.

Doesn't Guinness have to witness the claim to make it a record? That would then mean he should have had to reproduce the record-attempt for them.
