I wasn't aware centering became taboo.

Why the hell is the entire page clumped to the left? There's a ton of useless whitespace on the right and it's annoying me.

YouTube needs to keep shuffling the site layout in order to look busy, and to hide the fact that they're not making any substantial improvements to the service. It's been like this for years, and it's not going to change any time soon.

Really, all I can say is "get used to it." They don't care what their users think, and unless there's a worldwide boycott of the service, they never will.

I can no longer watch youtube vids on my wii. In fact simply trying to watch youtube vid literally MURDERS my wii. It worked completely fine before. Aren't they missing the point of what an update is supposed to do?

The last change people complained about I had to wonder why since it wasn't that bad of a change and it actually looked good once you got used to it.

This is just inexcusable. Seriously, everything aligned to the left makes watching videos look like shit, especially on my 1920x1080 resolution where everything on my left side makes the right side completely empty.

It also won't allow me to see my subscriptions on the front page unless I click twice to see their uploads IN ORDER OF UPLOAD DATE. What were they thinking!?

It's almost like they took a look at The Lazy Null Scheme and decided that it was better than whatever they could come up with.

I mean, really. Mild inconvenience or not, one has to wonder how they came to the conclusion that this was an improvement. Even with the peculiar direction, at least the last few updates didn't seem like they were going backwards.

This is probably because that's a resolution the Chrome OS, but it's still annoying for other users to deal the site's non-centered layout. Even then, it feels like they crammed too much info into too little space.

Am I the only one who is not a fan of this? I like it when things actually have some shading, this whole Metro style thing just seems like a good excuse for being lazy, and I really don't enjoy looking at it at all.



But about the YouTube layout, I'm not surprised that it has changed yet again and that it is worse than it was before. They should just turn changing the layout into an official yearly event and make a set day for it. It could become the most hated day of the year.
