I'm probably in the coldest room in this building. The thermostat is set to 50F and my water in the brita filter is as cold as if it were in the fridge.

I've been a fan of the Darkest Night scheme since it began. I like that it feels so gentle even though red is usually seen as an aggressive color. Something about the specific shades, and the scattering of stars?
Night is probably my second favorite theme. It's just missing the blood moon, really.

You know what really fucking annoys me about tablets?
When I open up youtube to play audio in a browser, then click to another tab. And get to hear the audio completely cut out.
FFS, what's the point of tabbed browsing when your fucking setup doesn't allow background A/V content? Here's a hint: If I wanted the video to stop, I'D CLOSE THE TAB.

So, now I have a Chinese boyfriend. He doesn't speak much English, so we've been communicating almost entirely in Mandarin (except when he wants to practice his English then we switch for a bit).

I know that it's near Blondie's. I'm saying that there's no BK that's like right in the vicinity of the downtown campus. I could go to Powell, but it's one of those walks that's both too long and too short.
Edit: On that note I actually DID go to Burger King, since I had to go to Utrecht for some more supplies. They're actually going to have a promotion later this week for 55 cent Whoppers. Hell to the yes. Also my overall rating of how quality the food is (given it's fast food, you kind of have to set lowish standards) is the same as how much the meal cost: 8.8

So, Chinese is the only class where I can literally spend the entire day studying for and not go insane or even mind it. Haha. It feels like it was a lazy day of no studying, actually! I don't even have to study for it, I'm already ahead of everyone else but welp!

I love when I have so much to do for work and so little time to do it - as in "not enough time in the week to do so many reviews".
I also love it when work actually takes a look and UNDERSTANDS why that's the case. Maybe we set the bar a bit too high for this project in terms of auditing... plus it's the first week. Tweaky-tweaky.
Somehow, I'm not surprised.
