I play the physical version, as well, but play a lot of it online in order to get more than 7 games a week.

I tried to play some Magic back in the day when I played YuGiOh... but I didn't get into it.

It was mostly the mana mechanic. I wasn't used to that, so even if I minded it I kept getting dry of resources because I tended to play too aggressively anyways.
And when I didn't... I didn't get anything to spend it on either and lost before I could do much. I couldn't figure out a good balance between resources and firepower.

Then again, maybe I am completely wrong. I don't know anything about the game, after all.

A good rule of thumb is that lands should comprise around 40% of your library (24 cards in a 60-card deck). :3

As far as constructed formats go, I only play Commander.

But Commander is sweet.

I also only play decks containing black (outside of limited formats, obviously.)
