I still think the electoral college system is stupid (I'm not American so it makes no sense to me), but so glad he won.

On the other hand, more states moving towards proportional representation (instead of winner-takes-all) will make the electoral college results much closer to the popular vote.

Apparently, you can get fired for political affiliation, if it's not within the company's interest.

A few states do have lifestyle discrimination laws, meaning that off-duty activities cannot be the reason for your firing, as long as said activity is legal in the U.S.

The U.S. law also has federal protections for gender, ethnicities, races, religions, and nationalities, but not sexual minorities.
