Some of those maps are pretty hard and are made specifically for pros, so I hope they have a good Jail area, don't mind a little Deathmatch...

Once you do it more, you get used to it and I've found it pretty fun. I tend to enjoy the actual courses rather than the surf arenas, though Surf_Bathroom(3?) is actually pretty fun.

I had a crazy sniper run last night. Five headshots in one life, ten kills, two dominations. At another point, three headshots and a fourth kill about as fast as I could reload.

I don't expect this to happen very often, but maybe I'll surprise me.

I used to play surf all the time for CS, but it's just not the same in TF2.

Seeing as you start with weapons in TF2 while in CS you got the weapons based on how well you surfed. :I

Completed tour 2 of MvM Mann Up, got a Botkiller Minigun. Someone I was in the game with wanted one, so he gave me a Botkiller Sniper and Botkiller Scattergun for it.

Traded the Botkiller Scattergun for the Botkiller Stickybomb Launcher. Much more practical for me.

The other day they added in new missions for Mann vs Machine. Operation Oil Spill is a lot easier than the Steel Trap missions and provide 6 missions. Completing a tour here gets you a rust botkiller or a rare blood botkiller.

Then there is Operation Gear Grinder.

There are only 3 missions in this.

It is by far one of the most brutal things I've seen. However, completing even one mission feels so great, especially after destroying 12 Rapid Fire Soldiers, 3 Deflector Heavies with Medics, and 12 Super Scouts while also dealing with 2 Tanks.

You need a good team for that. A really, really good team. Upon completing a tour, you get a Carbonade Botkiller or the ultra-rare Diamond Botkiller. Right now, a Diamond Botkiller is about 1 Earbuds worth in trading, and the price of them will probably not decrease for a long, long time.

I played the Wave 666 mission tonight. Matchmaking took too long that it failed, so my party decided to run a private server. That is the most demanding mission in MvM to date that my party only went around 25% completed. Three bomb-carrying bots came in between intervals and caused us to deal with three at once eventually. Failed by the hands of the third bot dropping the bomb in the base. I can't imagine dealing with Merasmus at the end.

I missed out on playing the event until the last half hour. I managed to get in on killing Merasmus, but one of the other team's Heavies randomly mowed me down before I could touch the book.

Probably one of the better events I've seen in the game, although not as big as MvM was to me.

It was fun, but killing Merasmus became a chore after the first wave of people got the hat in one day, leading to them joining as Spy or other classes to do nothing but kill the distracted team and brag about it.
