Doing the first steps through the early floors in Etrian Odyssey - reached 3F so far, mapped maybe half of it, then nearly got slaughtered by one of the FOEs there. It's challenging, it can be frustrating even, but above all it's still fun. Not to mention, there's that sense of accomplishment you get when you reach a new floor or kill a strong FOE

Also playing some random Saturn picks from time to time, like Sonic Jam, Nights, Virtual On...

Dick Tracy for NES.

I'm actually getting impressed with some of the little nuances and stuff in this game. Not the best NES game of course, but I definitely think it's a good game.

Torchlight II hasn't turned off since it released. I turned off the sound effects and turned the music up and fell asleep to the town theme.

I'm currently loving NSMB2. The levels are great, and they have some pretty neat settings this time. (Giant totem poles in the sky! Mossy sky ruins!) They also did a great job hiding stuff. I didn't find the secret exit to the cannon in World 1 until just now, and I'm already at world 6.

Can't wait to play Co-Op mode with it!

Putting Borderlands 2 aside long enough to give Torchlight 2 a try.
Playing an Engineer, so far so good!

This is going to sound weird, since most people have played it by now... but I think I'm going to finally play Red Dead Redemption.

Playing mine AND a friend's copy of Ocarina of Time 3D. Beat the Forest Temple for him, then did Jabu-Jabu and the Forest Temple on mine. Then beat the Fire Temple on mine (two-cycled Volvagia too!), then beat it on his (3/4-cycles), then did his Ice Cavern.

Man, he really needs to learn the Gold Skulltula locations. He only has 12 of them. I'm getting on for 40.

I beat NSMB2 today. And by that, I mean 100% everything, but I have yet to reach a million coins. In fact, I'm only at 80k. Hitting seven digits is a lot more daunting when the social portion is removed. (No street passes means no records to challenge, which means less incentive to play Coin Rush.)

Almost have Double Dragon Neon finished off... well, on Normal difficulty at least. :\ Wish it had online co-op...

Just beat Sonic Generations the other day. Thoughts:

1. The final boss is incredibly lame.

2. Crisis City is fucking hard.

3. I've had Free stuck in my head since right after I unlocked it.

4. Why can't Modern Sonic bring a skateboard everywhere like Classic Sonic can (with an unlockable skill)? I know it wouldn't work well in every level, but even that could be a fun extra challenge. Only having the first half of City Escape and a challenge on Rooftop Run seems like a missed opportunity.

I've finished all but three challenges, and I haven't found all the red rings yet. Having beaten the final boss, though, I can take my time for the rest.

You know, like I took my time to get this far.

Oh good god, I just streamed 4 Super Metroid hacks all the way through. It's now 02:37 and I have to be up in less than 7 hours...

Ah well, at least it was funny. Especially when my parents walked in drunk and started talking about moving to Shetland, where some of the places are named stuff like Muckle Flugga and Twatt...

I've been playing the HD rerelease of Sonic Adventure 2 and the normal port of Sonic Adventure lately on the PS3. Due to just normal Stage Select levels, I ended up taking longer to beat SA2 this time compared to when I started SA2B. Same for SA1 pretty much, but I've completed that countless times on my Steam, pirated PC copy, and GameCube.

I have also been playing Sonic 2 on my PS3, but that's mainly for the achievements. I waited so long for an online match.... :<

Decided to pick up Wario Land 2 again after remembering its' existence again.

Currently just kinda gronking my way to another ending branch. Already got the one you can get from being lazy and and just not waking up at the very first stage, so now I'm just using the map to steadily plot my course through the game.

I'll prolly' play through either the first Wario Land or WL3 sometime after I'm done with this.

I've been playing Wario Land: Shake It! as part of my work on the TCRF article. I forgot how frustrating most of these missions are! And a lot of these treasures are well hidden. It's no wonder I only have 67% treasure and 36% missions. (And that's AFTER my recent playing.)

Speaking of finished games! I finished Wario Land 2 a couple days back. 100%'d it, 'course.

And a few hours back, I also finished Wario Land 3. Got all treasures. Didn't bother with the musical coins though because fuck that shit. I'm not doing that just to get a golf course I'll never play in.

Besides, after I beat the game, Wario gave me the double thumbs-up and that's good enough for me! Though, on a more serious note, I did get 100% treasures. Amusingly enough, I took the Day/Night Tile last by accident. Mainly because I pretty much cleared out everywhere but A Peaceful Town earlier.

Though rrrfff the early game is kind of a pain to adjust to coming fresh out of WL2 considering how... gimped Wario starts out in comparison to WL2. Regardless, it was much fun, and I'm glad I picked it up again! I'll prolly' play through Wario Land 4 sometime later. Maybe perhaps.
