I don't normally ban for offsite behavior but you're a whole level of terrible.

Well this fucking pisses me off.
Seriously, why do kids keep pushing kids to do this? :/
I dealt with bullying when I was a little younger but, never to the extent that this poor girl had to go through.

This has become something of a media explosion in Vancouver.
What disappoints me the most isn't the kids who are going "oh we didn't know" and "I wish I could have done something about it" (many of whom will forget her within months, I'm sure) now that she's taken her life, but the fact that a lot of the media are just looking at "teen girl commits suicide because of cyberbullying" and takes the opportunity to turn it into a massive thing. Meanwhile, an acquaintance of mine took his life in June for reasons still unknown, leaving behind a devastated family, girlfriend, graduating class, and community, and not a single media pinky was raised.
I'm not saying it isn't sad; it most definitely is. But she's not the only teenager in the Vancouver area who's killed herself in the past few years and left severe emotional impacts on dozens if not hundreds of people.

| | Metal_Man88's Post | Bullying in general is never treated with the seriousness it deserves. Even people like me who ultimately came out on top and began punching the bullies still got emotional/mental/physical scars in the process. It just shouldn't be tolerated, period.
