You know, maybe I should start taking pictures of what I eat at the dining hall ... the food there sometimes is really unbelievably good.

Today was not one of those days, though, it was good but not quite great. I had jasmine rice, roasted chicken, and mixed vegetables. The rice was a bit tough and it could have used more seasoning.

I walked with friends to a restaurant in Virginia for dim sum, and it was really good! It was as part of our celebration of 中秋节 (Mid-autumn Festival) The dim sum was really good, I had dumplings, spring rolls, some pastries, and some other things I can't really name.

I ended up falling asleep when I got back ... somehow I'm really tired.

Cracker Barrel Cheese Slices. Could not find a better picture but... they're slices of cheese. You know, it LOOKS like American cheese but it's actual cheese. That stuff.

My day was weirdly paced, so I didn't get to eat until very late (~11:30). As such, I threw together this little meal: 1 (leftover) biscuit + 1 slice of salami, microwaved for 20 seconds. It actually turned out much better than I was expecting, and even had two. Of course, it's not entirely filling, so ideally you would need 3-4 to make a full meal.

I made French toast! I've never done this before, so considering that I think it came out really well. Two slices of white bread dipped in a mixture of egg, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and then cooked on the stove.

Dinner today was a burrito-type thing made of ground beef, cooked with cayenne pepper and chile powder and salsa added in the end as it simmered, with Monterey Jack cheese and some greens (which didn't end up playing much of a role) in a white flour tortilla. It was pretty good... I was hungry and ate it rather quickly

Um... microwaved macaroni and cheese? :\ Weird work schedule (for me) so while I can actually eat real suppers I can't always have something fresh and healthy.

I mean, the macaroni and cheese isn't THAT bad calorie-wise but the sodium... yeah.
