^see title.
Since everyone at home uses this computer at the moment we have to have it set to a lower resolution so that mum can see whats on the screen. I know that some games can force the computer to temporarily use the higher resolution while they are in use. Is there any way i can force other programs to this (like Google chrome).

For Chrome specifically, there's an extention called Resolution Switcher. I'm not sure if that meets your needs, or not. There's a few more ideas that I'm toying around with, but I can't look into them until this evening. Hope that helped a bit.

Its ok now. Mum was given a new computer the other day and it runs vista which seems to have fixed the bad graphics.
