Way, way too high.

Starfox Super Weekend is SNES, for one.

And two, since when the fuck is SMB3 a rare game? It's hard to come by, sure, given its popularity, but it's not impossible to find.

It seems to actually be the PAL version of Stadium Events, which I'm pretty sure isn't the rare one.

Apparently, quite a few people have made offers (probably somewhat realistic offers) and all of them were declined.

Wow, I thought it was at least the NTSC version [and that Flintstones game is very rare and valuable as well], but if not that price is a joke. He'll never get the offer he wants. For what it's worth if that just so happens to be the NTSC version of Stadium events [and looks like there's 2 copies of the game there], it could be worth a couple k at least.

If the Stadium Events games WERE NTSC, then the price would be SOMEWHAT understandable.

Then again, would be easier to just have two separate auctions for those games.

And given how the Stadium Events copies are PAL, there's no possible reason why that package is worth 39.5k.

You're right, my mistake, they're definitely PAL, in which case this whole package will never sell unless the asker accepts a reasonable offer. What a joke, he's probably hoping the image is low-quality enough that some rich collector will take a chance that those are NTSC copies.

Went up from $40000 to $80000?

This guy must be trying to get some record for selling valuable games but, of course, this is really worth less than a tenth of what the guy wants.

Oh, it's NOT. But if I had a copy and I knew how much people were willing to spend for one of the Holy Grails of NES games, then... when in Rome. If people are buying the game for, say, $15k, you might as well take advantage of that.

That all said, going from 40k to 80k strikes me as "this auction is BS".

SIDEWAYS SLASH
... out of all those games, only one isn't commercial, isn't it? And it's not a particularly rare one nor anything as far as non-commercial games go, right?

Also, stupid people who don't even know what do they have and enjoy being proud of overstimating the price of things will pay that much, racking up the price of everything. Including legitimately good things. Basically this sort of stupid bullshit is why we have prototypes that will never be seen.

I'm sure every single offer has been a troll offer.

Can't say I blame them. This guy's an idiot, glad he removed the second listing as well. Was obviously looking for some fool who thought they were NTSC.

"The game is worth up to $38,000 according to the NES Rarity Guide.[6] An eBay auction of a new, factory-sealed version of the game was sold on February 26, 2010 with a winning bid of $41,300, but the winning bidder never paid for the auction won.[7]. However, on January 22, 2011, another factory-sealed version of the game sold on eBay. The transaction was completed, and both parties exchanged positive feedback. The copy sold for $22,800.00, the highest confirmed price paid for the game."

That's what makes the price not look toooo bad, until you see that it's PAL...

I would LOVE to see someone find a whole box of Stadium Events carts one day just to see what they'd do. Or if they'd do anything. Or how insane collectors can really get.

Imagine IF we still needed that game dumped today. Eep.
