Some of these Final Smashes seem pretty lackluster till you actually see them in action, say, Ike's for example. Pit's is stronger then the site and even some videos make it look, too... I hope this one is a bit better then it looks, but that mostly depends on how strong the speedier Waddle Dees are, or at least how much force they push you back.

Apparently Brawl isn't on Europe's Q1 release list... it might be a Summer 2008 title.

Don't give him a voice? I HIGHLY doubt Kirby had a voice when Smash 64 came out, yet they still gave one to him. Captain Falcon as well. And Ness. And...

You get the picture.

And why does it matter who does the voice? All they are going to be doing is taunting and screaming attacks for vocals, so...

I think Kirby first got his voice in SSB. Given everyone, even Zero Suit Samus and some assist trophies, have voices, it's pretty likely Dedede will have one. It's also pretty likely it won't be the 4Kids voice, given that Meta Knight, who had never had a game voice before either, has a new one. It's also possible, however, that Dedede will just use his Japanese anime voice, if he doesn't say any English lines like Meta Knight, as I believe Kirby's voice actor was the same between the anime and the games, and he never said any actual words that weren't already in English, like PK FLASH or Falcon Punch. I also remember the old SSBB blog saying Meta Knight would have his Japanese anime voice, but that may have changed, though it's possible that like Jigglypuff he has a different voice between languages. I'd figure the same might be for Dedede if he has any actual phrases.

I'd love to hear Dedede with his 4Kids "oil tycoon" voice, but I'd be perfectly satisfied with whatever voice they give him, provided he just doesn't make squawking noises.

One of Melee's debug features (accessible via Action Replay) removed the skirts from Zelda and Peach (without revealing anything, perverts). They have fully-funcitonal leg animations under there.

Actually, Sonic's final smash was revealed in some youtube movies, not officialy, but they do exist. He gets all 7 chaos emeralds and can fly around killing people really easily.

I was talking about site updates.. It was pretty obvious since, you know, Sonic transforms in his first video that he appears in.

Today's update is actually a pretty wordy one dealing with online play and some other stuff. In a nutshell...

- It's actually pretty streamlined and you can vote for stages/items.
- If you disconnect in a random match, the CPU takes over. In a friends match, that doesn't happen.
- Most hidden characters are unlocked through Adventure Mode, and there's no control over who you can/can't play online; in other words, if you actually AVOID spoilers about hiddens, you shouldn't play online until everyone's unlocked.
- Oh, and there's also a character select screen but I'm not sure if it's a mockup or the actual starting lineup...

You didn't mention that this is just for the "With Anyone" option of playing.

Hopefully Sakurai is suggesting that you'll have full control when you play online with friends.

Captain Falcon used the same voice actor as the male character voice from F-Zero (the "nooooooo" when you fall off the course).

Also, I hope they give Dedede his 4Kids voice. Why? Regional consistancy. We've always had the 4kids voices for the Pokemon (and we -should- have...and we better, still). If we still get the Pokemon voices, this means Eric Stuart will be playing Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard again, which should also make him on board for Metaknight as well. Who knows, though.
