In Port Alberni, British Columbia, it's always nice and cool in the mornings. (12 to 20 Celsius, which is 54 to 64 Fahrenheit.)

However, fuck afternoons. The temperature literally booms up to 30 - 40 Celsius, which is 86 to 104 Fahrenheit.
At that point, I coop myself up in the computer room, with every window open and every fan pointed at me.

Here, I'm used to temperature in the negatives.

I even wear t-shirts and shorts in cold temperatures like that.

In the Midwest it's always like a tradition to have freezing cold winters, then blazing hot summers. Guess which extreme I prefer more.

Just kidding; it's 75F outside and it'll be in the mid 90s from tomorrow through the rest of the week. I really miss winter

We've been in the low 30's for the past few days (Celsius, obviously) and it'll hold for the next two days or so.

Problem is that the humidity's high as well. It's not really a dry heat or anything, it's just really muggy.

We're going through a small "heat wave" ... it went up to the mid 90s today and it'll be 98F tomorrow Thankfully it'll start dropping after that, hitting a high of 77F on Friday, woo!

The monthly forecast shows a lot of below average lows Not sure how accurate that'll prove to be, though......

can someone make it rain here or something?
it's been pretty much punishingly brutally hot (think almost 110) and extremely dry for an entire month straight now

this is actually really unusual weather because usually it's really humid and it rains a lot and now it's ugly outside and my skin is dry and everything's on fire and i don't like it

Whoa, that sounds pretty nasty Here it's been pretty typical: hot and humid. But yeah, I remember someone talking about how the midwest is turning into a desert.

I imagine it has something to do with the drought. It's supposed to be pretty bad. Of course, Florida hasn't really seen a difference, as we've been in a drought for years.

Summer didn't start off to bad, it was sunny most of the time. Of course, around here, this often also brings in the cold winds from the north, so temperatures were never that high. (15 degrees Celsius is a good temperature. )

However, most of July so far hasn't been the best. Temperatures around 12(+/-) degrees Celsius, wind and periodically lots of rain. My hometown were the wettest place in the country a few times, and other parts further north suffered a flood which destroyed roads and farm lands.

When the weather is like that for days... once you see the sun you find yourself wondering what the hell that bright thing is doing on the sky...

Spring has also been pretty cold, as is evident in the amount of snow and ice that were still found in some mountaineous areas. I did some hiking (when the weather was still good) and found snow in places that were completely bare last summer.

We have the world's craziest heatwave ever right now. Okay, it's not as crazy as it was a few weeks about but it's pretty wicked uncool. All my windows are closed so the heat doesn't seep in. It's terrible outside.

It got up to the mid 90's this afternoon. I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to go to our garage sale at that time.

Good news for those winter weather lovers in the northeast (and bad news for midwest):

http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/snow-for-i-95-corridor-northeast-winter/69820

I hope this actually happens because I really want some real winter weather this year!

It should like totally cool down in Boston already. I'm getting sick of 80-degree weather. Seriously, it's late August. Get with the program.
