| They released it exclusively on a brand new site that nobody knows anything about. I hope they don't blame a lack of sales on us. It's the store. At least it's DRM free.
Since Nihon Falcom has had a -ton- of sales since they started releasing their games on Steam via XSEED, maybe they'll give them a try in the future. I hope. ____________________  |

From what I understand, the point of Playism is to translate and release Japanese indie games for Western audiences and then turn around and translate Western indie games to Japanese for release there. The translation for La-Mulana was apparently done in-house at Playism and it's quite well done. I'm definitely keeping them in mind for games down the line, especially for more niche titles that might not have steam releases.
I think this game got rejected on Steam for some reason but that it was not permanently unable to show up. I don't remember where i read this, so take it with some salt. Otherwise, the game is soooo good. I'm literally 99% done with the game minus hell temple; I just need to beat the final boss. I'd been waiting for this release since learning of the wiiware version years ago and I'm so happy to finally be able to play it. ____________________ |

I don't remember exactly what I did to fix being able to create files with names in Japanese, though.  ____________________ |
