To me, the trailer felt cheap. I could nitpick about Bowser's hair to some of the overly exaggerated animations. I don't think there's ever going to be a more cohesive or more nonchalant blending of crossover than "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

Like everything Disney does, it's a very distilled, cliche'd, and overly presumptuous view of culture and ideology. Dorkly or Robot Chicken has done a better job cropping bad guys together in stupid, over the top shorts.

You do realize the video game bad guys are not the focus of the movie, at all, right? They don't really have much of a role in the film besides being there for premise establishment. This isn't remotely trying to be the who framed roger rabbit of videogames, nor is it so much as vaguely attempting to be comedy shorts.

To be fair "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" didn't have it's famous characters as it's focus, it had a stand alone story which other characters blended into, same of which is what seems to be happening in this movie.

Same with "Cool World".

If anything, I'm sure that it will be full of cameos without any existing game characters taking the spotlight. This movie is about Ralph, not Bowser, and the focus is him trying to become the good guy after being the villain for so long. That's what I got from the trailer, anyway.

I liked how the trailer laid down the basic premise for the film but didn't give away every bit of the story, like most trailers tend to do nowadays.

This, all of this!

A trailer showing all the heavy plot/action scenes just makes me wonder if they want me to get the whole story in the trailer of if they actually want me to see the movie.

November release..gahhh. Why they previewing this so flippin early?? Hate when they do this with actual interesting movies. A movie right up our alley it seems. Anyways, these are the times I'm glad I'm friends with people with kids.
Friends: "So we gonna go see Wreck it Ralph with the kiddos, wanna join us?"
Me: "A kids Disney movie?! pshh, well...I guess since I have nothing better to do." (Clapping with joy on the inside)

I too hate her crass style of humor. I assume though, this being an animated G rated movie, she will tone down the poopoo and pipi jokes. And as long as Reily isn't paired with Will Ferrel, hes fine.

You guys have probably seen this, but apparently Dr. Wily was in an early version of the trailer, pictures of which were in Disney’s D23 Magazine.

For whatever reason, he was removed and replaced with a generic ninja guy in the final trailer.

It makes no sense as to why they taken him out, perhaps they didn't have the rights to the Mega man IP (or they thought he wouldn't be worthwhile for the amount they were paying for him).

Maybe its because he is probably not that well known anymore since the Megaman series ended permanently quite a while ago.

Two years ago isn't really "quite a while" for a Mega Man game

Can't find a source for this anywhere, but I seem to remember reading he's only scoring the music that plays during the sci-fi FPS portion of the movie.

So don't be too worried? Maybe?

If you guys forgot, the movie's out! Just got back from the cinemas, and I have to say it's a really, really good movie. Definitely worth a watch.

I kinda regret buying a large coke and then having to leave for a bit during the climax, but the credits gags more than made up for it.

I just saw it tonight and woooooooooow was it good. Definitely something I would recommend seeing. It likes to throw a lot of references out, both Game and Real-World related.

I really want to see this. I've never really been big on arcades, but still, this movie looks really fun. Plus cameos!

With any luck I can see it this upcoming weekend or something.
