Look good.
"孤島らしまもの" in google translate corrects to "孤島ら島もの" which means "Island from the island thing". Don't looks legit.

But the image itself is very interesting, the game have albums which actually matches this image. The first, the characters are on the beach (which might be the island thing) or the "to the ocean". The forest also is on the album photos. And the events, surely are the other albums (one in a house telling stories, other lunching and the other one Age is waiting someone [the pink haired girl from the image 2])

Thanks guys, I will arrange the stuff and make the article soon as possible

Looking very deeply I could match the stuff:
*These aren't unused files, are the files on the album folder: *
Event 4 - To the Forest:

4th image of the album.

Pier - The Island (or the Ocean) - Which goes together with even 1 that makes the story, they go from the house to the beach, as seen the "arrow" in the map

1st image of the album.

Event 5

5th image of the album. Seems to be here, as it fits the map

Event 3

Seems to be here, it's also the third picture of the album. And matches the map too

12:00

In the game (I saw in the translated version) when you unlock this photo, you actually you see: (EXTRACTED FROM THE ENG TRANSLATED VERSION):

「They say that witch's strange experiments... huh, you're quiet, what's wrong?」
「You really are bad with this sort of thing, aren't you?‾」
「...it's not that! I saw it just now! I saw some person with weird clothes!」
「What do you mean?」
「You know, like an apron dress? That kind of odd skirt and clothes.
Wearing a hat like a witch's, with rabbit ears sprouting from it,
a person like that was standing and looking at me!」
「What's that, it's not like Edogawa's ghost story. It's a rabbit witch.」
「I saw a figure in the distance, uh, here, someone besides us was here.
It seemed like that person was watching intently, silently staring at us.」
「Maybe you were just seeing things?」
「...No! She was a bit far, and she left quickly...
But I definetely saw her, I'm sure!
I wondered if I was seeing things, so I felt bad and tried to forget it
and didn't say anything to anyone, but I really saw someone!」
「We'll all be materials for the witch's experiment, then‾」
「Aah, stop it, stop it!」
「Ahh, I'm sorry, it was too funny. Let's sleep.」
「You'll forget about all this in the morning.」

^The "u" is the beginning of the quote and the "v" is the end^

The game when you advance, it extracts .txt's at the game directory, in the "Curtain Rise" there is something related:

Concept: On an island(?) the outbreak of a serial murder incident!!!

The actors are three people.

○Edogawa(♂)
His role is to disappear first.

○Uuji(♂)
His role is to disappear second while going to search for Edo.

○Irisu(♀)
Her role is to remain until the end.

Which seems to be the island of the Event 1/Pier.

SPOILER ALERT

If you get a bad ending, it actually shows that Irisu killed a person in the College, which might be actually the Pier or something else, it's hard to understand...
Here is the video of the BAD ENDING:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxhDza34KCE
^must put HD and full screen to read

That's my theory tough.

The map itself is craziness, it needs more investigation, I might work better in the article

More Arcade game text!

This is a filler tile from the X-Men Arcade game. It's found in Nightcrawler's player tiles.

The rest of this stuff is from Exed Exes.

The first three pieces of text are win messages when you beat the boss of a round. They're completely blanked out in Savage Bees, the North American game.

This text appears when the player gets 10 million points, ending the game. Confusingly, this has more text than the Japanese game, which cuts off after the second line!

The last bits are two large Kanji characters that appear in the background tileset.

Thank you for your help!

It's hard to tell, but I think it might be , which means "look" or "see". I could be wrong.

やったね

やったぞ

たいへん よくできました
The first two are somewhat generic celebratory exclamations; they translate literally to "I/we did it".
The third one is "very well done".

おめでとう
"congratulations"
PGCもよろしく
...I'm not sure. Who or what is PGC?

青木
This looks like a name; it's most likely pronounced "Aoki".

One more thing from Exed Exes, found this string in the middle of some hidden credits text that was stored in Hiragana.

Thank you!

It turns out that credit list is part of a feature that's present in Exed Exes but removed in Savage Bees.

Okay, thanks!

Its odd though that there's two varients of it, possibly one has more emphasis than the other?

The top bubble is written in katakana and would be translated as "FALL~", as if it were emphasizing something. The bottom bubble is written in hiragana and has no real emphasis.

The top one might have been used by Baby, although I don't know how it speaks in the Japanese version.

I know this thread is intended for text only, but I found some Japanese voice in SMB2:

http://tcrf.net/images/1/18/Voice48a-monkeyball2.ogg
http://tcrf.net/images/8/8d/Voice48b-monkeyball2.ogg
http://tcrf.net/images/7/7f/Voice48c-monkeyball2.ogg

Any idea what they are? I would guess it's a developer scolding me for peeking around the ISO

Don't sweat it. Audio has been posted here before.

Translation in progress:

Roaring Tsubasa. 16 years old. (unclear) warrior. Starting (unclear). Somehow (unclear) The two are also together. Thank you so much.

http://tcrf.net/images/8/8d/Voice48b-monkeyball2.ogg
Hm...Still sweet, ain't it? Roughly around this point, (unclear) think ahead. (unclear) However, start doing your best until the very end and don't give up. This is a reward.

http://tcrf.net/images/7/7f/Voice48c-monkeyball2.ogg
Tsubasa-chan, thank you/good work. (unclear)

Certainly not someone screaming at you for looking inside the game. It's probably not even related to the game, but I can't quite figure out where this would be either.

Uh, why are those files named "ogg" if they're WAVs?

No problem. None of my media players would recognize the file as a valid format until I tried renaming it to wav.

You should probably upload new versions of the files, if you haven't already.

divingkataetheweirdo (a wiki admin) already replaced them for me. ( thanks diving! )
And that's odd, even though they are named .OGG, they still play in Chrome's in-browser player...but I will be sure to properly convert them...

Anyway, on topic, thanks diving for the translations; very odd files indeed...

Just checking, you are aware the the "buggy Japanese letters" are normal Shift-JIS text, right? To be exact:

適当アニメーションスクリプター
# 2006/02/19 byてつ
#
# ●命令一覧

"Tekitou" Animation Scripter
2006/02/19 by Tetsu
- Instruction Summary

With "Tekitou" actually translating to ex. fitness, relevance - might be supposed to mean that it's a "suitable animation scripter", as in Tetsu made something that's suitable for the game? Or simply, "hell, it works, let's go with that".
