Current bite count: At least two on my right arm (possibly three), at least two on my back, and I think there's one on my left arm too.

We've also had a swarm of yellowjackets (which are, I'm convinced, the spawn of Satan himself) outside the door, but luckily neither I nor my parents have been stung yet.

Anyone else been having bug problems lately? I know it's summer up here in the northern hemisphere, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I've been really lucky in that I haven't been bitten by any sort of insect all summer yet. Usually I get at least two throughout, but I guess that since it's been so dry this year mosquitoes just haven't been able to multiply nearly as much as they could have. And I've been out in the dark and still, no bites.

I think some people might be more prone to mosquito bites than others, because I tend to get several every summer. Like, usually at least one every two weeks.

Haven't been DESCENDED UPON like this in a while, though.

We get plenty of them in my house here, it's a royal pain! Not matter what we try they won't go away. I picked up a bug killing lamp last year that I have been having on in my room 24-7 during summer, but a week ago or so it broke down!

I eat so much garlic-infused pizza that mosquitoes refuse to bite me a lot of the time. I was standing next to a river with clouds of the things. Only two or three even tried to get a bite, and they refused to actually suck my blood, I just tasted that bad too them. Meanwhile someone else on the trip got about 30 bites in the same night.

I wish the same happened to me. I love garlic and eat garlicky things quite frequently, and yet mosquitoes STILL think I'm the most delicious thing ever.

Our house may be rebuilt with an add-on and everything you could imagine, but there's always bugs getting in. Mostly flies, but mosquitoes got in as well. Quite a few bites on my neck, and some on my legs.

They're not common-place over there? Although, as I said, I kill about one massive spider a day, there's many many small spiders all over my room that I don't bother to kill and spiderwebs in parts of my room I don't put stuff. I guess what I'm getting at is, over here you learn to live with them.

On Canada Day, I went out to watch the fireworks with my father down at the baseball complex that is south of the marsh that borders the northern edge of the town.

Of course, there were a lot of mosquitoes... and a bunch of them got up under my pantleg, and sucked. I had one huge, bloody bite, and a whole bunch of smaller bites around it. The scab finally healed underneath and fell off though just a few days ago.

Not as many spiders in the house so far as in past years, but the suckers are outside making their webs in the corners of the windows.

Not as many bees either... I mean, they're around but not in excessive numbers.

Having said that, I have been bitten a few times by random bugs or spiders. Nothing major but yeah. Guessing game.
