I'm trying to get the 1k on Though the Fire and Flames on easy. I know I can do it...its just that I'm missing notes that I shouldn't be missing..mainly because my mind starts to drift. I've gotten a perfect on One, but it was about 700 and something notes...might have been 600 and something...

It's all good, as long as they take it easy with the craptacular pop music they've added (The Killers, AFI, and virtually all of the bonus song bands) god those songs make me want to stick ice picks in my ears.

Haha good luck with that. When it comes to American music games it HAS to include popular radio songs from popular groups at the time. If not, the mainstream audience won't like it one bit. That's how PIU Exceed SE failed, even though that had 101 songs on it, 5 being the only American liscenses (Name of the Game, Let's Groove, Rapper's Delight, Little Less Conversation, I Love You Baby (which in turn is now a regular song in the Arcade versions)) and even with those they felt in place... unlike Britney Spears and Sean Paul in DDR...

The popularity thing kills me too. Impulse is a kick-ass song in GHIII and it gets neglected by most of the people I know in favor of Miss Murder and whatever song The Killers did.

And its funny that I find the pure instrumental songs in GHIII the best. Cult of Personality is one of the few exceptions though.

All very true and unfortunate facts. But I guess you have to have your bitter songs to appreciate the sweet ones. And yeah, Impulse, along with Avalancha, are the 2 exceptions in the bonus songs. Those 2 songs kick major ass.
